Can’t take these “fortnite is dying” videos seriously anymore, i’ve seen so many games actually die off, fortnite is no where near close to that level and won’t be for MANY long years. Fortnite is here to stay for a LONG time.

They need to fix the SBMM and I think it would be more popular (consistent). I was very enthusiastic about the game at first but now I feel hoodwinked. When I first started I got a fair share of crown wins and wins in general. Now I can't remember the last time I won a game in solos. I know time and age of account is a factor in SBMM but just because I have played the game for a little while doesn't mean I have improved. There needs to be a bit more emphasis on casual players instead of gearing it towards sweats or waves of new players who end up long term players will eventually dwindle away.

Exactly the same point I have aswell.

In my opinion... I moved on from Fortnite a long while back. I feel like at this point, it is a desperate game, so many fucking collabs just wanting money and keeping the game 'alive'. But they can't listen to their fans. It's not the same to me anymore like it used to be, fun... That is just my opinion. At this point, I don't know how it goes better.

Yes the player base is dropping since OG, but that was always going to happen, if you look at the numbers it's pretty obvious what is happening. Peak OG was 11.6m, avg OG was 3.1m, which has dropped to 2.5m for this month's peak and 1m avg, but this time last year was only 1.8m peak and 1m avg, so not really down in the big picture, just returning to the core player base after the OG hype has died down, still numbers most games would love to have.

Its client base is larger than most. They consitently update the game, practically everyday. So, that means they could ideally go in any direction with the game's gameplay mechanics , parameters, themes, aesthetics, and which brands they choose to promote. It really comes down to data analyitics, which is what they read in to. They *may* decide to listen to one opinion, if enough people online will reinforce it. Or if it hurts profit margins, the biggest way to get what you want from these corporations is to vote with your wallet. If they have to reassess what their doing and revamp at the end of every fiscal quarter, then yes they know they have to fix a very serious problem.

Tbh fortnite isnt dead but the season has been very bland and annoying for me. The loot has me going insane bc ppl just spam those fists. And the new locker UI along with the creative settings just threw me off but what really killed the game (for me atleast) were the item shops and the new movement

In my opinion, the game's storyline sucks, and because of that, many of me and my friends have stopped playing. I have lots of good memories from 2017 - 2022, and new Fortnite isn't really fueling new ones.

The game hit record numbers in chapter 4 (before the OG season). It is a kids game so that makes sense why its only kids. When you got into playing the game I'm willing to bet that you were a kid (if you still aren't one).
