No, Europe has been so kind that it took immigrants from all hostile countries and not only that but gave them equal rights. If they were that racist they would have protested but they didn’t. The fact is the crime rates increased post they took immigrants from Africa and Islamic countries. So if theirs is some tiff between them, it’s because of the action of the immigrants from these countries. While immigrants from Ukraine will assimilate in their nation not because of their colour but their values that resemble with other European nation. I think Europe countries are most tolerant in the world. I being an Indian would have never accepted people from other nation getting equal rights over night. Specially those who gets shelter and next day ask for Shariya law. I hope you do some research on this matter.

Also, if you see Palkis reporting, her hate for Europe and specially England is not a secrete. She just escaped touching upon real points and wanted to twist it to blame it on England. I like her reporting but her unnecessary hate for whites and silence on Islamic terror is not appreciated.

@@Smartestofall-10Palki's playing the game just right, which is the realpolitik India has to learn. This is exactly the way the Western governments & media have played it for decades where they ensure their own internal security against Islamic extremism through ruthless surveillance and legal & illegal use of force across the world, but keep sustaining the fake narrative of'minority victimhood' in India by questioning the legitimacy of every little step the Indian government takes to improve its security situation as an attack on minorities. Speaking of minority rights, the Swiss don't even allow building of Mosque minrets there. The Chinese media & Al Jazeera do the same moral lecturing to others irrespectiveof their own gaping faults. The age of media & reporting as 'bringing truth to light has long gone and today its only a fight of narratives which every country has to fight to survive.

I'm an Indian, I've been living in France for the last 19.5 years, I don't understand when people talk about Europe they only consider West Europe, secondly it's not mainly about colour, it is more importantly about culture, belief system and getting integrated into the avg local community, how come you see so many black French in the football team then? Lot of things to be considered, Indians who integrate well get warm welcome, I've always got it pretty much. The problem with the people coming from Muslim countries is they come here on a begging basis(sry but true) and try to teach the locals how to live life.

US also gives passports to people who don't speak a word of English to win boxing matches. If you are willing to die in Africa on UN mission and are a refugee, a fast track French passport here too. A new comer Muslim (like Bosnians, Turkish, Iranian or even Pathans) get better treatment than those living there for decades with darker skins. You might get a good job as an IT guy (that too with glass ceiling) but that doesn't mean you walk around as equal. You face unfriendly looks and uneasy attitudes all around you when you might have a heart of gold but have darker skins.

This is natural, Indian median IQ is 77 similar to Africans and can't be improved because IQ is genetic. You need a median IQ of at least 100 to create and maintain a First World country in the technological era. It's why Dharmics break the rules of their own religion regarding caste pollution and flood into mleccha territories like Goa and Western countries. I have noticed Palki Sharma speaks on the basis of superficial problems. Europe had to stop this nonsense of taking cheap labours in the name of helping. Whole Europe thought of that, after Sweden and Germany and France faced the problem of Muslim majority of this unproductive cheap labour, Europe is teying to protect themselves. Europe as usual tried to be cunning while creating a war in middle east, and taking refugees for cheap labour. But, this time they failed miserably.

India also lacks entrepreneurial mindset as part of our DNA. People in the west are generally risk takers. We normally choose the safe route to have a stable income. Indians who have moved to the either Europe or the USA are willing to take the risk to start their own businesses and create jobs. Yes also the amount of corruption and regulations prevent new startup to turn into big business. That's a little less in the west.

Ms Palki isn't really qualified to comment on the complexity of European politics, I heard her speak recently at Oxford. The crux of the matter is that European societies have been years ahead in terms of development, development of society and development of it's people. A stark example of this is the age of Renaissance which took place before any empire building. It would be prudent to compare the development of countries during this period of history.

In the beginning the better infrastructure in much of Europe is reduce to the heritage of colonialism but at least in much of continental Europe that is at best an oversimplification, if not misleading. First of all, substantial parts of Europe had very few if any colonies and much of the infrastructure was destroyed in WWII. So, fancy old buildings aside, the modern infrastructure was largely built after the war where other than France and the UK had no colonies left that made a substantial economic difference. Of course, one can not ignore the ton of wealth coming from robbing the rest of the world part especially in the 2nd half of the 20th century that wasn't a major factor anymore for much of Europe. In the UK and France a little longer for sure but the UK is barely Europe (at least they like to think that way) and France is just a small part of the EU today.

The guest has been generally right, presenting slightly simplified version of this issue. Let me begin by saying that I have lived(spent) about 15 years of my life in Asia. I am originally from Poland(currently living in UK). First of all it has been exclusively Western Europe that benefited from the plunder and that also a relatively small part of the population. Second, especially Muslim population that comes to Europe has mostly no intention of accepting "others" point of view and they expect that others will just submit to their "superior" culture and the reasons might be religion and ethnic background. What I am trying to say is that if for example someone decided to settle down in a country say like Pakistan you would have extremely hard time to be accepted by the general population, to say the least, yet so many of them "cry" about people of Europe not being tolerant, pure hypocrisy...I know Muslim people with whom I get along well. There is so much talk about slave trade done by a small group of white people from the West, yet the largest slave was done by Muslims of mainly Middle East to people of Africa and that was also done with the " help" of local chieftans. Last, but not least if anyone was genuinely interested in helping former colonies, one of the simpliest way would be to help them build infrastructure, so they could function by themselves. "Importing" so many people to Europe is only going to create more problems, but I think that is an original intention of those who pull the strings. I am neither an Islamophobic nor a racist and I understand there may be reasons for things happening the way they do which are beyond my logic or reasoning.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of Indian artefacts in British museums, how on earth did they help build Britain's infrastructure and make Britain rich? I understand the Koh-i-Noor has a cultural significance, but moving it from the Punjab to London didn't raise the standard of living of British people or reduce the standard of living of Indian people, did it? Obviously Palki Sharma chose not to visit the British Museum and see all those Indian artefacts on her recent trip to the UK or she would have known that entry is free.

Of course it was the beginning but we cant turn a blind eye to the hard work gone into their country on infrastructure etc over the past 50 plus years. We can learn from the latter as we build our own developing economies. The truth is not always black or white...its complex

It could go any way. With multi cultural society, Europe could thrive even more if integrated properly. Note that when it comes to high performing immigrants then these countries give them a boost and shot them down saying they are immigrants. With globalisation , if Europe does, it will bring down other countries too but the likelihood of it dying is quite low. All countries face their surge and fall and so isolating it is a smirk on the host itself. I like the way she caught him at his question on Arabia where he had to back down saying he has no bias. Lol

The last sentence "Now you cant turn around and say it is not our problem" kind of sums it up. You looted everyone and got rich, you have the riches now and you are more desirable... so the poor and the rest of the people who want a break are going to head over to you... whether you like it or now... Simple as that.

Fairly narrowminded to think every country in Europe looted other countries. Some of the wealthiest and most prosperous didn't loot anyone. Maybe a good time to get bit more informed before making such comments.

What Palki is saying people can be an asset or liability to Europe with the shift in Demographics from The ME. Etc. Great show with Palki.

Since she is news anchor, she is someone who is called “Intellectually curious” (people who asks questions) but not exactly “intellectual” i.e. someone who can take in all the available information and then apply critical thinking to give valuable insights. EU immigration policies are based on historical wrong committed by them hence northern African find their way to France and Belgium. In germany, Merkel was trying to portray germany as safe heaven for oppressed or those running from war (showing a contrast to its past when Holocaust took place). Italy and Greece happens to have wrong geographical location as they are first countries for an immigrants on a boat. The key problem is integration and fault lies with both the European government and the immigrants. There is no quick fix to that problem. It’s something policy makers need to think long and hard about. In the meanwhile, EU needs to ban illegal immigration and open proper immigration channels to stop human trafficking. The podcast host should invite subject matter experts on this matter (or any topic for that matter.

don't insult the profession by calling her a news anchor.. she is party sponsored vlogger. I used to admire her work once, but now time and again she has openly shown support as per the govt.'s requirements.
