    Is beautiful to drive now that the main roads are in good condition but for every foreigner that's reading this comment i have a little advice, Stay as far as you can form the other guy ahead because we dont use blinkers, and forget about priority in the roundabouts cause most of albanians dont know that..

  • @timtense

    If you can drive in Brussels you can drive in Albania 😂 there are some differences but just pay attention to the style of driving of the locals and you'll be ok. One tip though: don't use your blinkers too much because others might get confused. Using 4 blinkers to double park however is highly encouraged 😀 in short: driving in Albania isn't that bad!

    Well you said it, its basically about the person, they just want to get from A to B and that's it, other cars, people and objects they are just in the way. I think the issue is rooted deep in the Albanian psyche. It may have to do with the fact that people are used to solve issues on their own, eg. survivalistic approach to solve issues. As such, you must work toward your objective and get it done. If that objective happens to be driving, or NOT staying in line (why waste time right), or fixing your house (but forget common areas), you get your stuff done and in the process no attention is paid to other details such as the fact that you may interfere with other peoples spaces or safety Just my 2 cents anyway. Thumbs up for the work done!

  • @sheep.herder

    considering albanias population compared to other nations it could be said that driving in albania is safer... generally road laws are frequently disobeyed and if one could describe driving and traffic in albania in two words it would be described as: organised chaos 😂 advice for tourists driving in and around albania...take your time, plan your trip in advance, stop on the way and ask locals of the road conditions ahead(they are always willing to help) lol yeah the police rarely drive as they would surely spill their coffee 😂 awesome video bro..sending out the love!

    no label considering the small country and its small population driving on the roads of Albania is a Death-Trap! Drivers ( the majority...) do not have the minimum of what is called safe -driving- conscience! The driving from locals is more than aggressive and the lack of good infrastructure and road signs makes driving almost impossible. Tip : Always watch out at roundabouts because you will never know who’s got priority! And don’t get upset when safe distance while driving is not kept! That’s how it is! To get a driving licence in Albania is very easy ! So easy that even though you might not able to pass the exam you still gonna get it by giving some money ‘“under the table” ! Driving in Albania you are in the hands of God!!!!!

    @@vasilispapachrysanthou6411 if we do a.comparison btw road deaths per capita with most modern nations and albania it's like day and night. you still have to have your wits about you though as with everything else in a foreign land. true road law enforcement is lacking but i prefer it myself knowing i can get away with speeding or parking in a no standing zone..in very rare cases i have offered money and let go..my kind of place seeing as where i am we are so restricted we are almost drone like....most of the surrounding nations are the same...macedonia, greece..Bulgaria..same!

    I've driven in like 20 countries. Albania has the worst drivers by far. Not sure Albanians understand what a roundabout is for.

  • @liljanasufaj1643

    @liljanasufaj1643

    4 жыл бұрын

    Actually they do know what the roundabout is for, but they get into the attitude that" oh, nobody is following the rules, so I'm not following them either". The worst thing is that if in other countries there is ONE guy who doesn't follow the rules, in Albania is EVERYBODY. This turns it into a pretty chaos. You are on the edge anytime you drive there.I have given up driving there completely.
