I was waiting ever so patiently for your take on this phenomenon with Delta. Thankfully, I applied just in time on the 3rd about an hour after they open their hiring window. Received an email from them that they will send me the Talent Assessment 5 business days after I applied. Delta is getting back to their traditional hiring patterns prior to the pandemic. It seems they are becoming more selective after announcing that their new training requirement is now 7 weeks.

They should’ve been more selective from the start. Now people who will make excellent flight attendants may even have a more difficult time getting in. I’m at a point that if it happens, it happens. Don’t stressing myself about it.

Thank you for providing the clarity. I received a job alert for FA LOD & non-LOD. When clicking on it, it says This job is no longer accepting applications.

I also want to ask that when i applied as the Bilingual Flight Attendants the system asking for which others language that i speak but it doesn't have the second language as I am. So does Delta also hirings the language besides all the language that showing in the list? Vietnamese to be exactly. Or who speaking besides all the language listed is considered a English speaking only?

I've been looking into into a FA position, I would love it...I like working and my kids are all grown so I think it would fit my lifestyle perfectly ...we'll see I suppose 😊

I got an email from them telling me that they were filled. I seen a lot of people complaining about it. I hope I can get into the 2025 class and in the email they told me that they are looking forward to keeping in contact. I look at it like you might’ve applied to late that you have a great chance because people still have to pass the class. 🤞🏾 with good hopes for me to gather more info about flight attendants. I’m still excited and congrats to those who got in 2024 🎉🎉🎉.

So I wonder if I have a F2F next week, if I get a job offer will I have to wait til next year for training?

Would it be around September again for 2025 hiring? I am applying for LOD but at this point, when can I expect for next hiring?

I hope not because I just did my interview today and I speak multiple languages and did a LOD application. So I guess I will see.

Any tips on house to pass a Delta interview and assessment test? Looking for a life long dream job.

I just saw a post from flyby Stella who is a Delta flight attendant and a KZreadr just posted that her airline Delta Airlines is hiring and confirmed everything. She was posting on the airplane for a two hour layover in Las Vegas and has been a flight attendant for Delta Airlines for seven years and said the only job she ever wants now that she’s been applied tent this. ❤

What is Delta's training dates wait time? I got my CJO and background cleared end of January 2024 and I have not gotten a training date yet but delta advised training may be in the Fall of 2024. Is the training dates this long? And is this wait time normal? Please share if you know.

No one can say for sure. Not even Delta. It’s different from day to day.

They’re hiring sporadically based on the bases that need more flight attendants. This is why each graduating flight class is getting different bases to choose from.

That's true! I received an email saying that they're English speaking FA's are filled for 2024 & they're considering 2025 candidates later this year. I can email you a copy of my letter if you send me your email address.

You are going to have to wait 90 days from the day you received the email saying thank you but no thank you. The requisition number is the job listing. Meaning you cannot apply to the same job listing that you were denied from.

Hi . I have a question. Do they accept non American cabin crew? From the other side of the world haha? I have to have a visa(work visa) to work in USA. Do they accept me so I can Hve this visa? I have a C1D visa I fly evey month to USA with my Airline. Plz Kindly to help me . Thank you

You have to be US citizen or permanent resident , Delta like any other US carriers do not sponsor to get you the work visa

You can reapply for non-FA positions.... and you can reapply for the FA position when it opens in the Fall.
