I've said it before, but it bears repeating: You guys are THE source for this niche of vlogging. You genuineness in describing the food, the level of production of your videos, your candor, the way you take us through the food items, etc. is all much more informative and entertaining than your colleagues in this genre. Just don't change. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Also, the buffets are pure gluttony so I love watching you guys eat as it is much less fattening than eating it myself. When I'm through watching these, I'm actually full.

I remember back in the day you could get a buffet downtown with just about everything for 3.99. Breakfast 99 cents. Then the casinos owned the restaurants. They wanted to keep you in the hotels and most importantly gambling.

We were there Yesterday, there is a 90 minute time limit to eat now. The brisket and tri-tip were very dry, prime rib had very tough nerves in. The asian food was very good. Not sure if we are going back again.We spoke with a lady waitress and she said that after the reopening from covid lockdowns things were not the same.

When I went there in 2019 it was only $55 and I thought it was over-priced back then.

You must have filmed this over 3 or 4 days. No way humans can eat that much food in one sitting. I just had a cup of coffee while watching you two....and I'm STUFFED! That's why I vicariously enjoy your buffet adventures on YT instead of actually going myself. 😋

What makes the Bacchanal great isn't the meat station or the seafood station or the dessert station but the ethnic food stations. It allows people to try foods from a multitude of ethnicities. And they can add even more of that to make it better.

We went back in October and were hugely disappointed. There’s a bunch I could pick apart about the buffet itself, but my biggest gripe was the 90 minute time limit. Felt very rushed, even with only two trips for dinner items, and I’ll call it one and a half trips for desserts (we shared a plate). We finished with about five minutes to spare. Now, would they have come over right at 90 minutes and told us to leave? I highly doubt it, but I just didn’t even want to deal with anyone politely mentioning it or anything. Spending that amount of money on a buffet shouldn’t come with a time limit if you ask me, but if you’re gonna put one on there, at least make it two hours. Those extra 30 minutes would go a long way to actually enjoying the meal. I don’t see us ever going back to the Bacchanal

I’ve been to vagas once and I will never go back, the food was awful everywhere you go. I think the chefs and the food workers don’t really care about the quality because their Salaries are so low why would they care about it not being upto high standards.

When I watch ya'll videos it is always from the beginning to the end. It's like a television sitcom I love that has millions tuning in every week. Love when your taste buds are activated by the delicious food!!! So many mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm's. I find I have to be eating something while you are eating (today, leftover steak, mushrooms and grilled onions with horseradish of course and warm pumpkin pie) otherwise my mouth waters with all the deliciousness of what you are all eating. I ate at Ceasars years ago when my mother and step father were still alive. I was amazed at the tables and tables of food and all you could eat. Back then piles and piles of shrimp that people walked off with in their big purses...lol!

Not shrimp guts on the fingers!!! 😂 I'll never get tired of you two describing all the deliciousness that you taste!! I imagine tasting with you and trying to imagine the flavors as you describe them!! If I ever get to go to the Bacchanal, I know exactly what to skip and what not to skip!! However this is THE buffet if you are only in town once or twice a year 👌 Frequent vegas visitors should just try AYCE at palms or buffet at the wynn.

Oh My Gosh! I can't believe I ate the whole thing! Well, it feels like I did, and I can't imagine enjoying it any more if I had. Thank you so much for taking with you, I'll probably never make it to Vegas, but at least now I have some idea of how great the food is.

Derek's face in the thumbnail is so funny. The food at the Bacchanal buffet looks good, but if you don't like waiting in long lines or don't want to spend a lot of money on a buffet maybe this place is not for you and maybe you're better off eating at another buffet. P.S: Merry Christmas and happy Holidays from Mexico.

These buffet videos are so much fun

Derek and Catherine, this may be the definitive Bacchanal review. Very in depth and so many samplings. It all looked so great. I recently saw one on this place that looked like they were slipping, nope not from this one. I loved learning you can ask for consumé for the Birria tacos. That’s a AYCV-ProTip. Can I recommend a little Birria spot in town. It’s called Los Arcos on Maryland Pky. I went there last August on my visit and was just blown away. IMHO deserving of a visit. They have both beef and goat and to me, surprisingly, the goat was the GOAT. Awesome video thanks again!

I graduated with my BSPM in 2013 and this is where chose to go with my family for the formal meal afterwards (we lived on Trop and Boulder Highway at the time). I'm sure it's changed significantly since then but it was amazing. Hands down at the time as close as you can get to gourmet buffet food.

Both you and your wife are so personable! Of all the “buffet videos” on youtube I enjoy yours the most. You provide up close views of the offerings and don’t rush by, you describe what they are, and you taste them and describe the flavor. It’s almost like you’re a professional foodie and I really enjoy what you are sharing with us. We are traveling to Vegas in April and will definitely try the Bacchanal Buffet!

Regular melted butter is much better than clarified butter. clarified butter takes all the fat out and the flavor and it's not as good, you need fresh lemon
