@brandonquin533 if he played the full season up to this point I'd agree with you, but a huge part of being a good hitter is staying on the field which unfortunately Seager hasn't this season

4 months ago the MLB had him as the 7th best SS. Friendly reminder they slotted the likes of Swanson, Lindor, Seager, Correa and Turner ahead of him. Good for him for improving his defence to a satisfactory level.

He has actually been a top 10 defensive SS this year. With his top tier offense, he is definitely up there with Trea Turner

not much of this is an argument for best short stop . it is a defensive position and most of this was of him batting , you can do that from any position or even as DH. he is getting better at fielding this year but he still has some work to do to be better then average . best hitter who plays short stop sure .

Well he’s the best shortstop because he’s the best player at shortstop. Good defense can’t push anybody above the absolute hitting machine, who himself is now also a satisfactory defender.

Anybody who has that much incredible speed at swinging his bat is definitely not using a bat that is too heavy for him. Bo has one of the fastest bats in all of baseball.

LOL not even close. Jorge Mateo of the Orioles had a better April than Bichette's May that he's being celebrated for. He gets most of his hits in games the Jays lose, so he's not clutch whatsoever. Also defensively he's just a straight-up liability at short. How could anyone think he's even close to the best SS? Oh yeah, cause his dad played.

Funny thing about Bo and errors is that if his last name was Guerrero, no one would dare mention it. Perhaps Bo needs a darker tan, rolls of fat, colored hair extensions, and a constant need to shove his face in front of a TV camera.
