Bloxburg becoming free has its pros and cons. Pros are that I can show my friends, who don’t have any robux, my buildings and play with them. tbh this is gonna be the biggest upgrade in out of almost all roblox games. Tons of massive gameplay changes and improvements that the original dev was far too lazy and greedy to fix (such as useless skills, horrible job imbalance, bad map with empty content and ugly buildings, not using future lighting which im not too sure if the team is working on adding this but they did say more aesthetic)

There have been so many other games who have said there game is protected from exploiters and most of the games have failed to show that it can block out all of them. There are also new exploiting softwares coming out left and right. As much as I would love more people to join the community in Bloxburg, it’s a big and too complex of a game to get destroyed and constantly repaired because hackers tear it all down. Another thing is community and representation of the game. The reason I bring this up is because role-play games seem to be most affected by this. For instance, Meepcity was a kid-friendly game made for the young audience to connect with others and build to their hearts desire. Now it’s been taken over by toxic, dirty-minded people who had made the game not enjoyable for anyone. I do understand that not everyone who is playing the game is playing for bad intentions, but the people who are playing for the bad intentions had ruined the experience. Same goes with Adopt Me. This was a game I used to play all the time, but I left the community after because of the greed people had and it started progressively getting more and more of a toxic environment. I’d hate for Bloxburg to end up in such a bad position. Not saying it will, but there’s always that possibility. That possibility that people with bad intentions come in, taking all the people who truly love the game out. Thank you for those who read this rambling. :)

Yes, Roblox has covered most softwares, but there is no escape sadly to exploiters. That’s just facts. Now, exploiters are getting smart and also creating their own exploiting softwares (that can bypass anti cheat) from pure scratch. So in the end, there will always be hackers/exploiters no matter how much Roblox tries to fix them. I do think Bloxburg will be fine, but my concern is it being such a complex game, that’s going to be the game that they target first. Bloxburg has always been a safe place and making it free and letting three year olds into the game isn’t the way to get more “diversity.” Yes I get it, you want more people to play your game. It won't decline, the popularity will go up, but it will be done by younger people who don't have a idea on how the game works, not to mention the fact the people who make this game probably don't care, coffee stain studios has a net worth of $12.2 million, i doubt they'd need to care about players, cause they know the new players who were never able to play the game will play anyway, still giving them that player count.

The most saddest thing is you guys beg for a map update, or something being revamped, but once it is, a couple days or weeks later, you guys are gonna say “I miss the old map” or “I miss the old building why did they have to change it” same thing happened with the tv shows. Enjoy the map we have now, instead of grieving for a new one, and I’m not forcing you to like anything, it’s just from my experience that once something is revamped, you guys wanna grieve for the old one. Like come on guys. Edit: and also, it’s common knowledge. You guys are more worried about a new map way more than enjoying the old one while it still lasts, which is mostly the common reason why you guys talk about nostalgia when something changes. Bloxburg is dying, i repeat, Bloxburg is dying

Same paychecks?? so working at pizza planet for a year and getting to level 24 was a waste of time? All jobs do not pay the same we worked all the way up to get where we are and yall are just going to take if from us, how sad.

I feel like bloxburg getting a “glow up” will ruin the original aspect of the game and will ruin the gameplay experience we have all remembered. Keeping the same style of the game such as what you did with the burger update is good, but revamping it and making it more so called “aesthetic” style. Players would leave the community who have been playing for a while and I think if this happens we will be seeing a “downfall of Bloxburg video” watch out and stay safe because the updates you put out are going to effect players. Edit: Making it free will also make a lot of players quit because random people will show up on your plot begging, etc. They will also be mad due to Bloxburg not being the same thing we knew, so I HIGHLY suggest don’t change it to be aesthetic or revamp the whole map, keep the same map but add changes.

The style of the current game is bad, there isnt any charm or uniqueness to it. who cares if it gets replaced. most of the buildings are very poorly modeled until a proper team took over and replaced a few, and the graphics are pretty outdated compared to modern roblox (no future lighting, dynamic clouds, grass, etc) aesthetic is an extremely broad term that literally could mean anything so there is zero point on assuming what it'll bring.

This is actually the most absurd thing i’ve seen my whole life. How are you gonna make a new map for all of the people that DONT have bloxburg but yet you can’t do that for everyone that HAS bloxburg, like i’ve been playing for 5 years and at this is crazy. Also why are you adding a house that you can click and it will automatically be there because the whole point of bloxburg is to build. Not click a button to automatically have a house..? like are you trying to be brookhaven because this isn’t funny. I’m not excited about these changes, but I think they meant for the “choose your house” thing to be more of a market place, like RoVille. You can upload houses, and sell houses you created for a price you like. It would probably be a premium feature (I would hope) and not a free house spawn place. That’s just what I think

Honestly I don’t want it free to play. I like it how it is. When it’s free to play, it feels so different to Brookhaven, livetopia, berry avenue, life together RP. Bloxburg gives a whole other vibe. Bloxburg always had that rich and amazing feeling of playing.. (it’s also my safe spot from friends with 0 robux) But at the same time, we can’t whine about a “refund”. We were literally given 10 years of free access and your crying about it? The game was called [BETA] for a reason.

And the most important. Bloxburg will be from Roblox, but it's a separate game inspired by the Sims. Legendary, nostalgic game and above all even though it may not seem like it, it's a CLASSIC GAME, its status is important. I grew up and graduated school with this game. @@raquelbe8131you do know there’s no hackers because bloxburg bans them right? It has a protective system that is extremely strict, even using shaders has gotten someone banned. If you can’t even use a certain shader, why do you think someone would be allowed to hack? 💀 and it is as easy as blocking them. When you block them in the game AND in chat, you won’t see their chats and they also can’t enter your plot. I’ve had my fair share of thieves, trolls and just rude people over all, and the game isn’t free. I just block them.

people are over reacting bloxburg being free would be great imagine all of your friends who couldn't afford it finally get to play with you! You can still block people from your plot, and most noobs probably would get bored or get trapped in their house. ALSO think if you want a fresh start without gamepasses you can make a new account and start over so that you don't have to reset your data and lose all of your hard earned builds and rare items. And the last thing if the game becomes free then that means bloxburg will be in more events because less people would be excluded from the event.

I don't know if you read the warning when you play the game, but it is specified that the game will become free at a point! Honestly, if you paid EARLY ACCESS it's because you chose to, there is no need to make a private neighborhood! And also, there is an option to ban people from your house, and also electric fences is a bit... classist? The thing about Brookhaven (I know you didn't talked about this but I just wanted to point it out) is that in Brookhaven IT'S FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Now, In Bloxburg you may have to work for things and those "annoying players" May go away easily! Totally agree with the second one! Same with the third, maybe even add a legacy game mode?

Whatever bloxburg development decides we have to allow it as we don’t own the game, though if they make it free why did we pay for it? Like that 25 bucks could’ve been a hair or face or something for an avatar, atleast like give something to us for joining the bloxburg early as we were the game testers and reviewed a lot of things, we’re all apart of a team who helped develop the game somehow. Anyways I agree with both sides but I would really like something in return because yes I’m broke and can’t afford robux and if I wasted 25 robuxs on a game that was going to be free then yes I’m going to be upset. At this point, I honestly think most people will agree with me when I say Bloxburg should not become free. Bloxburg will undoubtedly become like Brookhaven, full of exploiters, trolls and beggars. Because of that, Bloxburg will become more and more unpopular (like Brookhaven since barely anyone plays that now because of these reasons). People coming to Bloxburg from Brookhaven/ Berry.Av. will cause a lot more controversy in Bloxburg, making it less fun and less popular. which wont be good for the creators, or the people who currently really enjoy it and play it. The few (rare) people who wont turn into beggars and trolls will miss out, but it wont be anything different from now. Bloxburg is also one of the only games where you need to pay, it makes people feel more special because of it and you'd be ruining that for them. Plus, what are the people who paid the 25 Robux going to do? sit back and watch as Bloxburg changes for the worst? I'd rather not. I think we'd all rather not. As i said, this would create huge controversy in the roblox community. (like this if you agree)

this will be exactly like Brookhaven, the main point of bloxburg was to build and i don’t feel it’s a good idea to build ur dream house in a click, i don’t about u guys but i’m sure we all have the same ideas for our dream house, 2 stories big cute etc, so if u already have a house in the game that resembles these ideas everyone is gonna use it and your gonna have 0 creativity, the second main point was the 25 robux us veteran players spent, i know it’s less than a cent but if u remove it kids from ages 4-7 will start playing the game and it would make it less fun for us teens to play since we don’t know how to roleplay with little children. edit: sorry if i came off rude or ungrateful i’m just trying to express my opinions 😭🫶🏼

Have you guys every thought why Bloxburg is 10 times better than brookhaven? Thats because theres a price to bloxburg which causes all the trollers, exploiters, people that beg for robux to go play brookhaven. I have been playing bloxburg for a few years and it is probably my favorite game. But if this update comes into a reality where bloxburg just turns into brookhaven and if every job gives you the same paycheck, bloxburg won't be special for me anymore. If the way you guys want to success by making every og player quit and fill it with kids, then I just regret the years I spent in this game in the first place. Exactly. Bloxburg is by far, the most realistic game. For when having hungry free beggars come your way, it ruins the mood. Not everyone wants to block EVERYONE, and put walls everywhere. If the jobs become the same, it’s no point. Working hard, and really seeing who earned their money, compared to almost everyone getting the same amount . Bloxburg is a game you have to put effort it and its not just a roleplay game, its also a building and working game. If you want to just roleplay with a nice big house go to any of the other games i have mentioned, no need to take the fun away for people who put effort into their builds

It's gonna be like the default houses you can choose when you make a new plot. It's not gonna be a massive 2 story mansion or anything, you still have to build that yourself.

If my pay goes down a single dollar im actually quitting i didn't put in all these years of work at pizza planet to not have my 2k paycheck thank you

The objective of bloxburgs beta payment was for you and your people to test and help with bloxburgs step forward of development. This is the finishline, where bloxburg begins its releases. Quit if you want to, maybe youll miss the 20% chance where it actually becomes funner somehow.

Looks like you started playing not a long time ago... That grey box isn't a bug, it's just that the game is loading.

Hiya. I am having a bug with the pre-built houses. Maybe you can assist me somehow? So the other day I was buying a pre-built house, I did all of the steps( naming the plot, accepting the payment etc. etc.) And when I was loading to get the house I just spawned in a random 1x1 area outside of the map and I didn't get my house, but the money was still there.

The whole aesthetic of bloxburg is based around the fact that it is a bought, professional, and premium role play/exploration/ building game with a strong community that isn’t invested with exploiters or hackers like other games. Making it free dissolves this aesthetic and makes bloxburg vulnerable to hackers or exploiters. Bloxburg isn’t developed to be such a care free role play game like Brookhaven. It is designed specifically to have a premium experience. Please do not make this game free and vulnerable to the threats an average Roblox game faces.

Well yea it makes sense, it was in BETA it had to come out of beta after some point and be free, we got early access. Technically, since we bought early access they don’t even have to repay us anything but they are which is nice…. I say the repayment should be like 500k or more tho… PERSONALLY-

How about you make a “capitol” (aka exclusive rich town) for the people who payed, and the people who didn’t pay must go to 12 other districts, basically towns. 2 players from each district will get chose to fight to death, and the last 1 standing will get to live in the capitol.

I would like you to also improve the camera in build mode. I play on a cell phone and sometimes its a little complicated to move the camera at a certain angle to be able to place an object. Thank you.
