Is Biased NYC Judge Trying to Convince Jury Trump is Guilty? With Charles C.W. Cooke and Rich Lowry

Megyn Kelly is joined by Charles C. W. Cooke and Rich Lowry of National Review to discuss the biased NYC judge's jury instructions that help the prosecution and hurt Trump's defense, the power of a judge over a jury during trials, the hypocritical coverage of the sham trial, and more.

Do you know who is biased? Trump. Why don't we save tax payer dollars for judges and attorneys and just ask criminal defendants 'Did you do it?" And if they answer "no." Just take their word for it, cus after all, defendants have no reason to lie about their guilt, they love getting convicted and paying for their crimes. My lord, Trump supporters are gullible.

It's not that hard to believe. Trump has been doing all sorts of shady stuff for decades. Everything from stiffing contractors, tax fraud, stealing from his charity to pay for building repairs, business fraud to running a scam university. I'm actually amazed it's taken so long to get indicted for something. I suppose that's the advantage of being rich and making sure you never send e-mails so you never get caught. Trump's MO was literally only verbal instructions, so that way he's never get implicated in crimes.

Yes, it will get overturned on appeal, but more than likely that will be after the General Election. Biden needs the talking point of "convict Trump" for his election speeches. Which was the goal of every one of these sham "indictments!" That's the only reason they want a conviction of one of his cases before the General. It won't matter if it gets overturned after the election, it's the talking point the left wants for their campaign, which obviously, makes all of this Election interference!

Calling Daniels' testimony a "disclosure" misses the point that Daniels made the meeting up. There was no evidence. The extortionist was able to cause damage with nothing more that lies. Paying "Hush money" is not illegal nor was it what the trial is about. Corporations pay money to get rid of nuisance law suits when defending against them would cost more than just paying off the extortionist. In this case, it wasn't even Trump who decided to pay off the extortionist. Further, campaign expenses refer to costs that are only in aid of the campaign, like printing handouts, renting venues, renting sound equipment. It's more to be avoided the charging of personal expenses to a campaign than charging campaign expenses to personal accounts. I suspect that campaign expenses are a different tax consideration, maybe are deductible? Trump neither did something willingly wrong nor did he do something wrong. The law is supposed to reflect common sense but there was none here.

The Sixth Amendment requires that a defendant be notified of the nature and cause of the accusation against him. That means the indictment must state every essential element of the charge, not specifics, but what law is being violated. That is not happening in this case because the judge won't let it happen. Whatever the jury does, this case has no chance of getting past an appeal.

Trump will appeal and win, but the left will use this conviction as a political weapon to empower useful idiots.

When the judge tells them to stop and sit down or stops the witness from testifying, what would you have them do, defy the judge and be held in contempt and go to jail and then Trump has no lawyers? The judge is the authority in the court. Any unconstitutional or illegal activity has to be appealed and complaints go to whatever ethics body there is.

The judge wouldn't allow Trump's team to call all the witnesses they wanted. And the one's he allowed were told they couldn't say certain things or they would be thrown out. Trump's lawyer's have been fighting an uphill battle. The judge allowed the prosecution to have as many witnesses as they wanted and let the say whatever they wanted, but he was unfair to Trump's side, he really kept them from doing their job, because he wants a guilty verduct.
