Is Austin Ekeler Right About The Chargers?

Спорт

Austin Ekeler had an interview where he talked about what Jim Harbaugh and Joe Hortiz want at RB for the Chargers and it didn't add up with the Gus Edwards and JK Dobbins signings in Free Agency. Is Austin Ekeler mad about the Chargers situation or is he happy to be with the Washington Commanders?
Donald Parham Jr., Stone Smartt, Zach Heins, Luke Benson, Will Dissly, and Hayden Hurst are the TEs in the Chargers roster right now, who will make the final 53 man roster after training camp?
Deane Leonard earned some praise from Chargers Defensive Coordinator Jesse Minter after OTAs and Minicamp, so I watched every single play to breakdown his highlights and bad plays before the 2024 nfl season and training camp.
Chargers OTAs and minicamp are all over and their practice will continue in training camp soon. Here is everything that Jim Harbaugh, Greg Roman, Jesse Minter, have said in interviews and all the players that have had highlights and stood out so far in camp!
Tarheeb Still is improving in OTAs and minicamp according to Jesse Minter interview. Deane Leonard, Asante Samuel Jr. and Tarheeb Still are the Chargers CBs that have been highlights in chargers practices.
The Chargers minicamp day 1 practice showed how good Asante Samuel Jr., Ladd McConkey, and Justin Herbert are. The Chargers also went out to Camp Pendleton and San Diego still accepted them lol. Day 2 and 3 of Chargers mini camp will be in chargers news today and tomorrow!
Jim Harbaugh interview at chargers mini camp made breaking news today when he said that the starting offensive line will be Rashawn Slater, Zion Johnson, Bradley Bozeman, Trey Pipkins, and Joe Alt.
Zach Heins had a great day of practice yesterday and so did Isaiah Spiller. Justin Herbert obviously played great as well and check out Daniel Popper of The Athletic's article to find out more about Daiyan Henley, Derwin James, and Kimani Vidal!
Daiyan Henley was the 3rd round pick in the 2023 draft for the Chargers and this year the Chargers drafted Junior Colson in the 3rd round. Will Jesse Minter and Jim Harbaugh use Daiyan Henley in a way for him to breakout in year 2?
Hayden Hurst had some highlights at OTAs this week for the Chargers and Jim Harbaugh must be taking notice of this.
Breaking news the Los Angeles Chargers signed Alex Leatherwood the Las Vegas Raiders first round pick in 2021. The LT out of Alabama will give the chargers OL help and competition for Trey Pipkins and Jamaree Salyer at the RG and RT spots.
The Chargers signed 21 UDFA after the 2024 NFL Draft and they were: Karsen Barnhart, Casey Bauman, Luke Benson, Akeem Dent, Jaelen Gill, Thomas Harper, Zach Heins, Savion Jackson, Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste, Leon Johnson, Jaylen Johnson, Robert Kennedy, Micheal Mason, Tre'Mon Morris-Brash, Tyler McLellan, Willis Patrick, Jalyn Phillips, Zamari Walton, Luquay Washington, Bucky Williams.
The Chargers drafted Joe Alt, Ladd McConkey, Junior Colson, Justin Eboigbe, Tarheeb Still, Cam Hart, Kimani Vidal, Brenden Rice, and Cornelius Johnson.
Jim Harbaugh has now officially hired Jesse Minter, Greg Roman, Andy Bischoff, NaVorro Bowman, Marcus Brady, Steve Clinkscale, Shane Day, Mike Devlin, Mike Elston, Chris Gould, Sanjay Lal, Rick Minter, Robert Muschamp, Chris O'Leary, Dylan Roney, Marc Trestman, and Ryan Ficken.

I think unfortunately Ekler showed a little payback mentality on the field where I think he did some things to intentionally cause some issues. It was obvious a few times he was running at half speed and he dropped the ball dramatically which he never does and a few other specific instances. Of course they misused him so badly so anyone would be pissed about this but he should have just left the organization a year earlier in my opinion.

Ekler was definitely a baller for a couple of seasons, realistically he is a bad running back, he’s never rushed the ball efficiently and effectively and he allowed greed to get the best of him, because he holds himself highly. But compared to other running backs, he’s never had a crazy rushing season, he was a touchdown machine for sure but he couldn’t even pick up a couple of 1 yards runs when we needed it, he played with the payback mentality, and he’s a running back, you’re going to get paid based on what you’re suppose to do. 300 times a year? As a running back isn’t what you do? Nah that’s a bad mentality.

I mean, I don't really blame him for being unhappy with the organization when half the fan base could see the writing on the wall halfway through year two of the football terrorist HC experience. As for getting let go because he's not a between the tackles bell cow type of guy that's totally reasonable on both sides. I think the exact number he dropped isn't the point, the point is they want their rbs to be run first guys and he's not. It be what it be, let's just move on.

He got big headed or his ego took off 3 years ago, its why my circle of fans find him irritating or annoying off field. Besides he had T Rex arms like Ryan T Rex Mathews, always fumbling and often after first 1 in game.

I came across Mathews at a Car Wash with his white Mercedes, Im an inch shorter than him but my arms out length both of his. At first glance I thought he was a midget sitting down and Mathews came in mind only to be actually him.

Hating another grown man shows that you and the rest of the fan base are children. Hating a millionaire is crazy.

Thank you bro ppl looking like fairweather fans in here, Ek gave us so much but yes he was flawed and yes it was time to move on but we gotta stop acting like we put him in some incredible situation that man was like a 3rd of the offense for two years, we never got a consistent RB2 and we never really sorted the o-line, you damn straight he asked for more money but he kinda old so you damn right we said no too, that's it don't need to be hate I Hope he does well at the commanders cuz he gave us a lot even if he's lost a step this last year

You said, “I’m never going to hate on a player who’s trying to get paid” but your ENTIRE video was laced with more hate than anything else. He’s not here because of MONEY. 100% fact. Ek would slay in this offense behind that Oline and with Greg Roman calling plays. Who did they grab? Cheap players 🤷🏾‍♂️ Ek was being classy by saying he wasn’t a fit.
