Sometimes you fall in love with a bike. Sometimes, that love has to grow slowly inside. And sometimes, you wait for it to grow, but it never comes to fruition. And sometimes, you're just not sure. I am not sure. I love this little green machine, but some parts of myself tell me that maybe it's time to let her go... Or maybe not.

Put a bigger tank and a comfy seat concepts seat and its then a bike for all uses, city and touring travel elc
Bought my XR600R new back in '92, modified it with 11k € in parts (HRC, Öhlins, WP, Brembo Racing, Akront etc.) Still have it, still love it.
I had a couple KTM Dukes, and I learned so much about riding on those LC4 singles! Good Times...

Well here in USA we just drive the KX450 Dirtbike but add lights an mirrors, horn, blinkers. We use the title from a salvage KLX 300 to get it registered and boom. Now we have license tag. So simple instead of all the headaches

You damn lucky there, just slap some of the street legal stuff.. Boom... You get your licence plate.. Here in Malaysia even if you put Street legal stuff on your bike.. You'll get summon by authorities 😭😭😭

I'm in the same dilemma, I think I'll go that route again.. Maybe 2stroke this time... Easier to maintain.. A good seat... Confused 😕 Thanks 😊
I wish Kawi made a stock 450-500cc Supermoto. I bought a KLX300SM last year and I love it but a little more power is all it's lacking. Keep it or get another supermoto!

A stock KLX450 SM with proper electrical systems would be cool ... I’d totally buy that!
As long I see that original head pipe on, and the popping decel, your engine is not a full power delivery.
Supermotos seem to be a love hate thing. It’s because they aren’t best off or on road.

The KLX450R was always a turd, and will remain one, no matter what clothes you give it.
