Seems ungrateful tbh … my husband and I didn’t get a honeymoon, period. No wedding anniversary trip, period. Sometimes , it’s okay to just enjoy each other without pulling out the wallet and being extra. I also think she was “hoping “ Steve would feel bad and gift them with a trip. Wow. Thank you Steve for being super honest to her. This is what social media is causing and friends. Imagine her husband is a damn Teacher earning small salary and yet took you to different nice places but she's ungrateful and still wanting to go on another unnecessary trip to waste $20,000. That's a lot of money to a place you going to just spend 1 or 2 nights there. You better invest that money and plan better for your retirement

True. But I don't think this couple does. A teacher does not make very much. Also, she never said if she works. If you have young children, being a mom is hard work. But if this woman wants a 20 thousand trip, you better save for it, or find something cheaper. It is not like she has never been anywhere other than where she lives. She is expecting too.much.

Listen, I grew up on an island in the Caribbean with lovely beaches and white sands, but apart from that, and every day life, there's really nothing else exciting about the island. It would cost them about $2K including airfare and hotel to go there, and because St. Maarten is the hub to getting there, they'll get 2 islands to explore for far less. 😉 🌴 ⛱️ 🌊 ⛵️ 🐚 🐟

Sometimes Steve would give gifts like that to people. I thought this was like that. This was better.
