Impressive store and hope to see it grow further. And I just want to share that whoever is aspiring to open their own stores you really need some financial backing to sustain this business, especially at the beginning. Sales will be very low and almost seem like it's impossible to sustain a BL store if you start with a very low inventory like I did. Stick with your job for the first year or two at least (unless you secured a sizeable startup capital) and keep buying sets to part them out. If you're working, don't go overboard. You will be sitting on a lot of inventory (and money) for months and years at least so make sure you wouldn't be needing them anytime soon. If you can, go ahead and spend $5k to start a decent store. Even that is a very conservative estimate. A $20k startup on inventory should be your target.

Thanks for sharing the details of the operation! We don't know the time and effort that takes to have a successful business going! We all dream with that but man.... it's a grind!

I’ve been messing around with used snap-on tools for years on eBay. Got over 500 sales😁. I love the trill of the hunt and the feeling of a sale. Wish I could get more tools and make more sales. But if I pay $20 I sell for $50. After shipping and fees I’m lucky to make $10 😅 I’d make more money at work but I enjoy it.

dang 400000 parts dang, I have 460k in my collection but that’s all destroyed sets and built sets u prolly have like 2 mil total pieces

400,000 is a good starting point, but I’d say 400,001 is a little better

I’ll more then likely have an entire revenue breakdown posted at the end of this year but just for reference in the past 14 months my highest month (revenue) was $10,100 and lowest month $4,300

I think it's crazy how the Shops with 400-600k parts do this full time. I have 2 million parts and still can't quit my job. I list 250k-400k parts a month. 1 man operation with the occasional help from wife. I understand cost of living is differnt for everyone but still don't understand it. But it is a lot of fun. I think I would have to be at 5 million parts and list 400k-600k a month maybe to be able to quit my job.
