Love Kevin Penkin's work. Consistently amazing.

When watching Star wars Visions: Village bride, I had to check who made the music. I was not surprised at all to see Kevin's name on there. He is great at making music punch you right in your emotions, in a way that just stands out from the rest.
Bulgiarian folk-style choirs are very common in Japanese OST, so no surprise that Kevin uses it as well. Kenji Kawai from Ghost in The Shell, Himekami, and Granblue Fantasy has some excellent examples of this.

I think GITS is Japanese folk music style tho
@hian

@@haruyanto8085 Nope, the chorus style is traditional bulgarian with the lyrics being ancient Japanese. Ancient Japanese people did not sing like that.

@@hian so instead of saying bulgarian which is not a real thing you could have said turkic sogdian music because that's what this is.
@hian
Жыл бұрын
@@aloevera7835 Except it is? "The distinctive sounds of women's choirs in Bulgarian folk music come from their unique rhythms, harmony and vocal production. Characteristic polyphony, such as the use of close intervals like the major second and the singing of a drone accompaniment underneath the melody, are especially common in songs from the Shope region around the Bulgarian capital Sofia and the Pirin region (Bulgarian Macedonia)." But please, keep on spouting ahistorical nonsense🙄 The common use of this particular type of Choral song is very much derived from Bulgarian folk and has nothing to do with the Turkish tradition, reminiscent or not.
Finally, a reaction to one of my all-time OSTs. Great reaction!

Glad you enjoyed!
The soundtrack so good it can fit in almost every fantasy you can imagine. It’s so damn good! The vocals- man!
this soundtrack and show is so underrated

It's underrated because the anime cut out too much of the source material and turned out to be such a nice shell. Ok but nothing outstanding. I'm afraid what the second season will look like...
YESSS KEVIN PENKIN SHIT LETSGOOOO
Man, you are very cool. You should listen to the ost from "Violet Evergarden" Here are a few osts: "The Voice in My Heart" "Rust" "Across the Violet Sky" "Never Coming Back" "The Ultimate Price"
You should listen to another ToG ost - Shinsu - Kevin Penkin / feeding|ear, it's a masterpiece

I just today looked at your made in abyss reaction and was hoping you would make tower of god one. And what a surprise one day ago there it is
Finally, I've been waiting for this.
I have been waiting for a long time for you to react to this ost.
Shows like AOT and Made in Abyss also has such GODLY music but nothing compare to this masterpiece. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE 2nd SEASON.
This song gave me chills (in a good way)
Perfect timing again. Just recently startet listening to this again. Sounds so different
Yeah finally Regular God from Kevin penkin, thx for this vidéo !
kevin penkin my beloved
you really should do more of kevin penkin's music! he's such an amazing composer!
i waited month for this reaction :D kevin's music feels so otherworldly, it's incredible!
Berserker Bam is a very good track from Tower of God too
I just found an absolute gem/banger of a piece of live orchestral music. Look up Swedish Orchestra - Bloodborne Suite. This is to all of KZread, not just Atlas. But Atlas also. It just floored me.
The opening track is great too!
Footsteps of Doom from AOT next please!
I wanted to watch this series but my time is too limited. It is a very nice and different OST! Thank you for the Breakdown!!!
Hi could you "react" to Kara no Kyoukai ost? I think it has some beautiful melodies and would love to get your opinion about it. Some of my favorites include Overlooking view or Snow is falling. Sung by Yuki Kajiura who was also part of Kalafina
I recommend reacting to the Land of the Lustrous ost, a personal favorite of mine is Sunspot
Yoooo, i asked for this
Cowns fate from Tower of God is amazing as well.
Bro you need to checkout Le chant de Roma from Akame ga kill. I promise you it will blow you mind.
Day 78 of requesting House of Sacred Remains from Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. Beautifully atmospheric track and one of my fave's from video games in general. It'd be awesome to hear what you think of it. It's the theme of a level set starting from a cathedral and ending in the crypts through lots of library areas, it's not a particularly significant or infamous level at all but I think the track really reflects the hallowed grounds housing sacred relics beautifully. The 4 minute upload from the Castlevania Sound Team is the one to listen to.
I love Kevin Penkin's signature style.
Please consider reacting to Gankutsuou Kaishou!
Can we get Atlas to react to Bleach - Precipice of Defeat? One of the coolest tracks out there imho, still gives me chills after so many years
Love your reaction! Please try "FULL-FRONTAL - Gundam Unicorn OST - Hiroyuki Sawano" or "UNICORN - Gundam Unicorn OST - Hiroyuki Sawano", You won't regret it.
Que música tan orgasmica 🤯
Please consider Shinsu by Kevin Penkin
Will rage beneath the mountains eventually get a reaction then?
Old Stories from MiA S2?
Black March next please. Also Azhdaha theme is OP too so do that too l please ...♥️♥️
now listen to berserker bam (or is he Yoru? ahh, the mystery)
one of my favorite webtoons, the anime adapation was sadly bad(story wise, they cut and changed a lot) animation looked awesome tho, the style and music of course was amazing.

It sucks that it was considered a bad adaptation because I really liked it. I tried reading the web novel but I thought the art looked not that good. It sucks that manhwa wasnt treated with the same respect as manga.

@@leeworley6727 oh yeah, the art in season 1 is really bad, it's a huge turnoff i gotta say, it gets much much better in season2 and onwards are getting better and better, its at a point were its like equal to watching a anime almost, keep reading, its def. worth it.

everyone entitled to their opinion, but I would say that story-wise it was well written script for the anime adaptation. If they took every single pannel from the webtoon people would come up with different reasons to diss the adaptation

Can you react to Rengoku vs Akaza Theme from the demon slayer mugen train ost? I really liked the movie
Welcome to church
I recommand you Atlas to watch this anime, your gonna like it.
I really liked the manhwa until the last 60+ chapters, but I'm hesitant about whether or not I should start an anime... I'm not sure if it'll look good. Maybe I'll try it one day
