i did a console command to remove the thumbnail. on the brightside, it wasn't an important facial expression, it's was kinda straightfaced. but yeah, i absolutely hate that format, or at least the inability to easily close them or disable them.

Pretty obvious that people just want fun games, Pokemon established a classic- with mechanics and tropes that have barely been innovated in a quarter of a centory, they rely on brand recognisability- not their games. Palworld is capitalising on a mish mash of mechanics that is explosively successful, Pokemon being the forefront. That simple. Ain't gotta be like 'I like paint over Photoshop', they have their uses, the latter is simply more up-to-date
