IronCraft 5ft Brush Hog Review
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
We purchased the IronCraft 1205 rotary mower from my local Kioti dealer and tried it out on the Kioti CK2610. Made in the USA and a equipped with a slip-clutch system, I think this is an impressive piece of equipment.
I do some light testing with the brush hog.

I lifted mine off the trailer with my forks. Bent both support arms on the cutter 😂 This was waaaaay smarter using a choker. Love me some IronCraft. I have the older 6’ cutter when it was called Titan. Runs like a champ. Also love my Kioti 4710 👊🏻

That’s awesome. I’m glad they changed their name so more folks won’t associate them with the Chinese brand.
I also matched the width of my tractor. That way I know if my front end fits through the trees the backend will too.
Thoughts on sharp vs full blades? I’ve heard sharp cuts better but the dull will “bust” the trees you cut and because it’s not a clean cut they don’t grow back 🤷🏻♂️

Ya know, I’m not super experienced with it. Mine is definitely dull, so I reckon it’s just fine. I have heard some folks sharpen theirs. I will likely put a mild edge on mine one day
According to the specificarions, you need 25 HP at the PTO for the 5'. Did you feel under power or did you have any issues?

Hey Frank, I don’t have any issues with mine. Additionally, the kioti can be tuned up to 35hp pretty easily, so I intend on doing that when the warranty expires

Thank you for the help!
It does not appear as if this cutter has an adjustable top link to allow the deck to "float up" as needed. Also, I wanted to give a "thumbs up", but it appears as though it's missing?

It does actually have a thing up by the top hitch to allow it to float. I just had it tightened down too much. I just used it the other day and it’s still going strong!
