ABOUT DANNY
-----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On KZread and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Danny, not only are you a brilliant coach, you're an incredibly brave man teaching your wife how to play golf. My wife, fortunately, has no desire to play golf and it's a good thing. She is the most competitive person I know. If she played, it would be "Golf Wars"!!! Great lesson of the basics. We can all use them from time to time. Your comment about your wife being a little impatient with learning golf, I think that's a pretty common thing. Many people that don't play think that golf can't be that hard, it's not a real sport. Thanks, for what you do. Cheers!

It is a smashing one of a kind product for revealing an effortless golf swing technique without the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my m8 got excellent results with it.

Great stuff! I love your approach in breaking down the setup fundamentals. I’ve watched so many other pro videos, and they tend to explain things in a way as they assume you already know the basics. Keep up the great work!

Danny's lessons are great! They are very helpful!! I have been golfing for a while and I use his lessons to remind me of golf mechanic fundamentals. I also use his lessons to help me figure out and reviewing what I'm doing wrong on a particular golf outing; e.g. I was topping my fairway woods... after reviewing his video STOP TOPPING YOUR WOODS, I can immediate hit my woods in the fairway again. =)

Hi Danny, Don’t envy you teaching your wife, mine started at the tender age of 70. After a few weeks and some lessons from me I decided that if we were going to stay married she would need to get lessons from a golf pro. 😀 I have spent fifty years rolling my forearms and whipping my hands inside, I’ve had literally hundreds of lessons and as soon as I get on the course I’m back to my old habit. I saw the thumbs up drill a few weeks ago and a light came on, I do it in the house for 10 minutes every day and it’s revolutionised my game. I’m hitting everything as straight as the proverbial frozen rope, but the major benefit has been it’s stopped me from having hundreds of swing thoughts and trying to hit positions.

Phenomenal drill. I’m a ten handicap player, but never had a lesson (only ever played recreationally). However in the last few months I’ve become obsessed with golf and have been watching your videos to help me improve. This video is by far the best I have seen. It helped me feel how my rotation is supposed to feel (I suffer from early extension when trying to get a little more power), and also made me realise how much I have been relying on hand eye coordination in my swing due to being very armsy. Going to start getting lessons over the winter to be ready for next season, but this has given me such a better foundation to work on

Just started golfing about a month ago and I’ve been so frustrated with my irons that I’ve almost given up.I watched this video last night before bed for the first time and practiced what you’ve shown this morning. I headed to my local driving range this afternoon and I went from fatting or thinning just about every strike ti hitting 40 balls in row with my 7 iron about 150 yards and most were with 20-30 yards of the pin. I seriously could not believe I was doing it. Such a great feeling to see progress like that. Can’t thank you enough for the instruction!

WOW - this is the best teaching I've seen yet. I was just complaining to my wife that nobody tells you how far to lean over. I was hitting the ball all over the place and sometimes quite terribly. I just tried these tips with my driver and I was dead straight and added 20mph to my ball and each hit sounded like a shot gun. I just had the longest drive of my life focusing on the thumbs and got to 140mph which I've never done before. I think I had been over rotating on my arms and this solved so much for me. Thank you so much for this video.

Today I came across your video by accident... after watching your video I dropped everything and went straight to the driving range. I just followed your instructions and boy it works. I hit a large bucket and I hit the ball so well and consistent... consistent is the key here... I could not believe it. Thank you Danny. This video is awesome. Danny, i'm a 4 handicap golfer, and this simple drill with the thumbs Up was a haha moment for me, even if i had a decent swing! Simple but very poweful tip! M'y connection is so much better since i Do this 5 min drill with the thumbs up every Day! You are the best Danny! Thank you so much!! Dennis from Montréal Québec!

I've heard you emphasize assuming an athletic stance in other videos as well but never really internalized it's meaning until this weekend, first on the range and then on the course. What a difference it made with every club in my bag. This was a genuine "ah-ha" moment for me and is now my core setup move. Many thanks!

I only discovered you a couple months ago Danny boy. I’ve been golfing for 25 years and I have a 13 handicap. I hit ok shots but never know where they’re going to go. In 6 months you got me down to a 3 handicap. I was a little ball, and big ball (earth:) simultaneous contact.I now hit clean shots ball first that soar high and give me an extra 15 yards on every club. A little more with my driver. Your lesson about unfreezing the left side for a right hand golfer was my golden nugget. I didn’t realize how frozen that left side was.. I now know it’s go time when I have my back to my target, and my club along the target line. This is me giving you a brotherly hug Danny boy ✊🏻⛳️😎🤜🤛 You have a way of explaining it like no one else has. Ron James Hart

Very very helpful! Many thans for that! One of the most difficult things for me is ( i started playing golf 5 month ago) to get this „rotation thing“ explained. Your video finally got me to the point, where i understood what to do! So many pros tell you „ simply“ rotate your hips and shouders, but there is - and so many struggle with it - nothing simple at all, it is a damn task to get this coordinated to finally get a good contact with the ball and then the turf - but thats another story 😀

Cheers for the video, I applied your first advice and my swing improved so much. I started to do driving range with my friend (who is playing at golf since he's 15 y.o.), he tought me well and sent to me this video. I did my first 9 holes yesterday and this is so enjoyable! I will try to apply your advices 2 and 3 for the next time. But golf is so hard, I can reach like 100 yards with a iron 7 in a driving range and quite straight, but on a golf, because sometimes it's not flat, etc, this is so much harder !!! And yo uhgave so many things to think about in the same time. Looking forward to apply these advices for my swing! Cheers again mate!

Recently started playing, have done the typical beginners golf of just swinging and having no clue of what was going on, went down the typical youtube rabbit hole and ended up getting confused and trying too much too soon! I came across your videos fairly recently and its making so much sense, making me realize what ive been doing wrong and how to stop it before its gone too far and is a proper habit. I have just got to try and remember to do the warmup drills before I start hitting balls to get me into the mindset. Thanks for the great videos and explained in such a simple way!

No waffle in this explanation. So good how Danny is clear building the drills. This really helps with getting a swing back that seems to have an 'awkward mind of its own'. Got to strking using the core again with balance and a coordinating swing.
