@@DGNT1 it was probably part of their "strategy". Spidey even mentioned things that Tony told him, i.e. to go for the legs, that cap would tell this and that. Though I think he put Peter against him since he believed that Cap would go easy on a Kid.

@@VezixHaikal I always wondered what that was about. SHIELD is back in working order and most superheroes know Peter and have worked with him before to save the world. You would think any one of them could have vouched for him and confirmed that he was innocent to the public, but none of them were there. Not Falcon or Bucky, Dr. Strange, Nick Fury or his Skrull counterpart, Black Panther or the Wakandans, Asgardians, anyone. Based on the news reports, everyone on Earth should have instantly heard Peter was supposedly a murderer, so did every hero really save face and abandon the kid who literally fought alongside them in the most critical battle of history?

I love how Tony is actually listening to the phone calls he makes to Happy every evening reporting about what he did, that's how he found out that the woman bought Peter a churro and it shows that Tony actually cares about him.

@@dasik84 When did Tony show how little he cared for peter? By saving him from drowning? He's not a baby sitter whose going to reply to every single text a teenager who just wants attention sends. Besides seeing how peter almost died after getting picked up by vulture and dropped in to the lake Tony had every reason to warn him off this task. Besides when Happy and Tony do call him he lied. Peter not listening and his own desire to become an avenger is what caused two disasters, the one at the washington monument(which to his credit he did manage to clean up rather nicely) and the ferry scene and because of this he put his friends in danger, the people on the boat in danger and himself in danger.

Stark really was the heart and soul of the MCU.

I like how Tony still takes time to talk to Peter. He is obviously busy and doesn't need to babysit Peter but still does and warns him, so he doesn't get himself killed. Coupled that with the fact this is Peter's first big adventure and he has the suit, he's obviously gonna go way over his head and just get obliterated by everyone because he doesn't know what he's doing. The relationship was great and a real breath of fresh air in Spider-man movies.

Things like make me happy but also sad because people can’t see the greatness of MCU Spidey. Like there’s NO Iron Boy Jr. anywhere just a teenager getting way over his head with trying to stop weapons deals going down in his neighborhood. And here he’s arguing with his mentor and personal hero about how he can do more than just stoping small crimes, when he’s really just too inexperienced for stopping real villains.

as someone mentioned, tony really listens to everything tht peter reports to him, so he knows abt the old lady with the churro and quitting the school band, but imagine tht tony is like actually very proud of peter for being able to help the little guy and solve daily crimes, because it is something he cant really do as ironman, hence why he says later "i want you to be better" cause spiderman can help both the little guy and handle avengers level threats

I thought it was more along the lines of him not wanting Spider-Man to be directly or indirectly responsible for half of the threats he and the Avengers face Iron Man - the 10 rings were armed with stark tech, Ironmonger, armed with a suit reverse engineered from Iron Man MK1, and powered by the mk3 Ark Reactor Iron Man 2 - Justin Hammer, annoyed that Stark constantly outclasses him, went on to fund Iven Vanko, (someone with a grudge against Tony's father) Iron Man 3 - Killion created AIM because Stark had left him waiting on a freezing rooftop for a meeting Captain America the Winter Soldier - Tony helped make the Insight helicarriers Avengers Age of Ultron, Tony created Ultron, ultimately leading to the destruction of the capital of Sokovia Captain America Civil War - Zemo was only a threat because his family was killed in Sokovia, the Sokovia accords mostly existed because Tony was reckless, Tony (quite understandably) insisted on doing everything he could to kill Bucky after finding out that The Winter Soldier killed his parents, leading to The Avengers being disbanded Spider-Man Homecoming - Toombs only became The Vulture because Stark shut down his legitimate business. Spider-Man Far From Home - Misterio was only a threat because Tony called his life's work "BARF" then fired him. While Tony Stark was a great hero who saved the world a few times, and was not completely responsible for most of those, his actions did cause a lot of problems and create some of his greatest enemies, I believe that's why he wanted Peter to be better.

@@SpFlash1523 I think the point isn't who's stronger, it's that Cap is a highly trained super soldier with specialized experience in hand-to-hand combat and strategy. Spiderman is probably stronger than Cap, but he's still untrained, and didn't even know how to properly control his spidey sense until Far From Home.

@@jayK914 Cap only put him in that situation because he was holding back alot. His punching force is several tons when he doesn't hold back. Strength isn't the only thing in a fight but it's a different story when your opponent holds back and can lift up a car like it's a basketball

I think the reason how is because he had the injected objects in his arm to control the suits, just like in the first Mk42 suit up

I love this take on Spiderman. It's so more grounded and believable. The average Spiderman fan may complain, but I absolutely love the idea of Peter Parker being Tony Stark's protégé. It just makes so much sense, and the two have a lot of chemistry.

@@Wolverine-ky9gk He's not his sidekick. Ironman is barely in the movie. Every trade begins with an apprenticeship. Peter having Tony is good for the story, and good for the MCU. Uncle Ben's only purpose was to guilt Peter into being responsible over thinking that he caused his death, and he's part of Peter's origin story. MCU Spiderman's origin story is not shown because we've all seen it several times.

Melody no it’s not. U probably never even been to India, what say do u have in this? The WiFi services in India are very good, I can stream Hulu, Netflix, KZread, etc, with very minimal interruption. The speed of the WiFi is just as fast as the one I have here in the US. U don’t know anything about India so don’t talk about stuff u don’t know anything about

Tony put a GPS into the suit because Tony was kidnapped and held hostage. He added the heater because he was once stranded in the middle of no where and froze for a while. The man indeed was a hardass but he deeply cared about him and it hurts

I love how little details show that Stark learns from his mistakes... In IM3 when he was lost and almost freezing to death, he decided to add a Heater and a Tracker to all of his suits just because of that

For me, the biggest problem with Homecoming is that Tony underestimated his influence. He brought Peter into an Avenger fight, then kicked him to the curb and told him gain experience. Peter on the other hand, was doing just that before Tony showed up. He was growing as a hero, then suddenly he's uplifted to the big leagues only to be side-lined again. Of course he was going to think he could handle threats beyond his pay grade, he was already involved with a fight he had no reason to be a part of, against heroes who had him outclassed in experience. Not only that, but he did (arguably) fairly well against them.

That sounds just like Tony though. Look at his mistake with Ultron. Playing with something he didn't fully understand, a Infinity Stone, and almost got the world destroyed for it.

No one in that fight apart from black panther actually wanted to kill each other tho. That’s the difference. Vulture was very willing to kill Peter hence why Peter lost that fight and got a building dropped on him

What’s great is that Vulture actually fights like a Vulture in this movie. Incredible work on the animators side. Things like flying their prey into the sky and dropping them to their death, slamming them with their sharp claws, etc.

I like how when Tony first met Peter, Peter proclaimed how he wanted to be a friendly neighborhood Spiderman and Tony was like "no no you can't do that" And here in this scene Peter is like "I want to be more than a friendly neighborhood Spiderman" and Tony is like "no no you can't do that"

Yeah, this is why I don't like night time action scenes in live action movies, it's almost always impossible to see what's going on. In animated movies like Spider-Verse, the characters can pop out more even in night despite the darkness.

Impressive watching the evolution of his suits. From a very crude, heavy, bulky suit which was mostly just steel plates, to the iconic Iron Man suit, to this suit, which he can operate without even occupying it himself, to one which he can summon any time with nanobots.

Honestly one of the saddest things in this scene is Peter saying “I don’t need to go to college-“ at the end, like sure, he’s really smart and maybe college would be a breeze for him, but it just shows his will to throw away education for being Spider-Man here, which is really sad because if he works for it he’d definitely be as smart as Tony one day if not smarter.

Scenes like this just underscore how devastated Tony is at the end of Infinity War.

I'm not a leave a comment kind of guy. But I really like how Tom Holland's spider man trilogy ended. Him learning from the other Spidermen that he doesn't need a fancy suit to be what iron man wanted him to be, a friendly neighborhood spiderman.

I'm sure if he pursued an engineering degree he'd be able to develop more efficient webs, learn techniques from war and combat in history, and engineer his own high tech suit given enough time and money, which would be a little easier to get a good paying job if he had taken Stark's advice to study at MIT under a real Stark Internship. You don't need to have Stark intelligence to improve your capabilities as a hero if you were already a hero
