Felony Strutter - I don't care they were wearing Korn shirt, I love Korn in an entirely different way (while Maiden is my #1 band for many reasons), though, Korn has become kind of drivel since after like 2005 and I don't really care anymore. - But where someone gets that Iron Maiden is "overrated"... Well, maybe in one way or another, but they've always been such a no-bullshit band that just does what they love to do and they're always there and make no excuses, being professional and reasonable and so on. - And yea, to some extent they might be a little overrated, even as a fan I can see that if I take a step back and look at some things. But you can't really say that about a band that is still high quality in many other aspects. I don't think there's that many people who are negative about Iron Maiden anyway, the ones that don't have anything with the band or music just don't bother, which is fine. I think we're just getting into a generation where "we" (already established fans) are getting older and we see these younger kids come in just not getting it. We're becoming our parents... Of course there are some exceptions, there will still be teens and the like who love Iron Maiden.

It's not insulting to anyone, including the late great Ronnie James. It is a way of expressing respect for someone who has passed. Stop being so sensitive. Dio even sang on a Christian rock album for Kansas guitarist Kerry Livgren back in 1980 (and recorded with him again in the early 2000s), so apparently he wasn't as sensitive about such matters as are you. Peace...

I hate it when people bash Heavy Metal and call it violent, unhealthy, unhuman, whatever. The amount of respect in the heavy metal community is incredible, and we alwys look out for our own. The passing of great people like Cliff Burton, Randy Rhoads, Dio, Dimebag, and the millions of tributes that follow is an example of how much love there is within this beautiful music. RIP all of you who fought for this piece of heaven on earth. You will never be forgotten.

Old comment, I know. I was at an Amon Amarth show in Boston a few years ago and in the middle of "War of the Gods" the floor crowd picked up a wheelchair-bound fan and carried him over their heads to the stage to get a fist bump from singer Johan Hegg. Absolutely immortal.

From one great metal voice to another. Thanks Bruce for taking time to remember a legend and icon.
God bless Bruce Dickinson.
Fucking chills man! I respect bruce so much for doing this.
May God bless !
CLASS!
I was right by the lights on the other side that night. Was a hell of a night, and that just made it all the more special.
RIGHT ON-there wasnt a bad bone in His Body-RJD-THE KING
Great
This is awesome !....thanks for posting......two legendary singers.
I was there, and had my Dio "In Memoriam" t-shirt on. It was a magic moment...a lot of people were patting me on the back because of my shirt.
Thanks Maiden. One of your most brilliant songs dedicated to a brilliant human being. Would have loved to have been there. RIP Ronnie James Dio.
At the Detroit show on this tour, Bruce gave homage to Dio and praised him for having "the heart of a lion and the voice of an elephant".
Long Live Rock N Roll. Long Live Ronnie James Dio.
I went berserk with the rest of the crowd when Bruce said this at Knebworth
Dio, Rest in Peace.. We'll always love you!
With Bruce's tribute, the crowd chanting his name and uniformly throwing "the horns" up to the heavens for Ronnie, this made me a little misty.
Very, very well put.
Oh damn. How did I miss that. Thanks!
this dedication got me all choked up....while it's silly to mourn the end of a life well-lived, he will be sadly missed RIP , RONNIE!!!
I would love to hear Maiden do a cover of "Heaven and Hell!"
Ronnie inspired a lot of people from all walks of life . The world really misses RONNIE JAMES DIO rest in peace
Thank you so much for the upload!!
Just beautiful. Dio was a GOD!
God I am sad that i couldnt see Dio live, i bought tickets to his London concert but he had to cancel, health issues, and later he passed away. What a great artist and voice rest in peace 🤘🏾
Goosebumps everywhere ;x
I was at this show, what a great moment. Ronnie had just passed in May.
Big bands know to show respect to the legends !!!
i was here. fucking amazing. great tribute
Saw Dio his first Black Sabbath tour in 1980. Assholes walking around with a sheet that said 'Ozzy Rules.' Dio's performance convinced all that he was more Sabbath than all of us.
Nothing but love for the great, great Ronnie James Dio. Love you Ronnie, R.I.P.
The hardest I've ever cried was the day that Dio died. The world needs you Dio, more than you could ever imagine. \m/ \m/

we dont forget you . DIO!
Top music
Man mentioning Dio is like saying Voldermort. Everyone goes crazy over it but in a good way. Dio was truly a great man from what I know and I would have loved to meet him.
I was there, great show
May he rest in peace...
I was at this show...I drove fucking 3 hours to get there and this was probably the best part of the show.
Peace...
Dio is not dead... he is just on a tour in heaven!!! lm/
thats class....this band has the biggest army of fans in the world.....up the irons !!!
To me Ronnie hustled to making it to the top and he struggled to get to the top but regardless of what band's he played with he was an all some singer cause his voice in the songs speak for its self RIP and may everyone stay focused on Jesus Christ our savior.out
Long Live Ronnie James Dio.
To those always making comparison of bands and singers, there you have it! Bruce himself recognized Dio as his Mentor! Thank you Bruce for acknowledging that🤘
The horns 🤟🏼was taught by DIO Italian grandmother to ward off evil, evil eye 🧿
@thenamelesscrow Couldn't agree more with you. Truth is that metal children are amongst the most kind hearted ones out there........as for Dio he was one of the most respectful men on stage of his crowd. I loved him, as i love Maiden. A beautiful tribute to the master of metal from the masters of metal. Long live Maiden, RIP my Dio.....this is for you......\m/
i wish they'd do a Dio song as tribute.. dickinson is probably one of the few that could pull it off...

Great tribute! Love Dio and Maiden. I only wish they actually Sang a Dio song instead
Too cool. Would have loved to hear them do a verse or 2 of Heaven And Hell.
10849303483th reason why this band deserved my respect
I fucking cried
