@@xunknowngodx every event with lots of people shows the notorious differences between european and south american fans. Try watching the Chapions League and Libertadores. South American fans are so much better lol

Timeless Metal on world class level. One of the best bands in the world, the masters of story-telling metal, in my opinion. They are still on my playlist, after over 35 years. And they are best served *live* . Recently, I added Lovebites (Japanese Metal) and Nemophila (also Japanese Metal), so these three bands shape my personal Metal heaven now.

When I was stationed in Germany 85 to 87, I was an Iron Maiden fan. This was one of my favorite songs.

One of the greatest old school Heavy Metal bands that made me fall in love with Metal!

Interesting comment about Bruce looking so young, this was nearly 20 years into his Iron Maiden career! If you want to experience some young Bruce (and I recommend you do), try some of Iron Maiden’s live acts from the 80s. Hallowed Be Thy Name (Beast Over Hammersmith - 1982) and Rime of The Ancient Mariner (Long Beach Arena - 1985) are good ones to check out.

Those recording are _legendary_ . They stood the test of time. Even in the words of Iron Maiden's sound engineer, they were _perfect_ . So many things could go wrong during live recordings, often enought a very good recording was simply luck, the result of good circumstances. Those Iron Maiden live recordings were _perfect_ . Perfect sound, perfect vibe.

Great reaction! Iron Maiden's longevity is amazing. Their musicianship is legendary! That was an Awesome performance!

I started with groups like Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, & Judas Priest....They really had a theatrical almost Operettic quality that has almost become extinct. Ghost & BabyMetal have really been pretty close to keeping that spirit alive for me. And thank the stars for groups like Band-Maid, who have resurrected the 80's and 90's hard rock and metal sounds that I have been missing...if you get a chance you should check out one of their songs---they don't really have a bad one to react with...but I would go with an official live version for a great sound and feel for show style..and they are all female Japanese who mix English and Japanese lyrics so you might look for subtitles to be on.

In South America there is Jesus, then there is metal, USUALLY in that order.

Truely ONE OF THE great bands with absolutely great musicians, People miss out on how talented they are and how the two guitarists shift the tempo of the song BACK and forth between them one of the best songs ever.

It is all about the fans. It always was. Iron Maiden show them love, gratitude, appreciation. Iron Maiden would have been _nothing_ without their fans. If their fans would not have cared about them (word of mouth to promote them...), Iron Maiden could not have _existed_ . Up the Irons!

Im jealous of South America they have some diehard fans

well bruce is a champion fencer and was for years a professional passenger jet pilot so you can't do the rock star bit. steve plays football, recently he played, at 67, a game the day before the gig and kicked a goal. he also has another band he tours with. adrian likes to fish on time off and dave and nicko golf so they have avoided the worse excesses.

Maiden does a an old school version of Phantom of the Opera that for me is second only to the version from Nightwish with Marco and Tarja, and just ahead of the Floor and Henk version

They just made it. To me, they are the masters of story-telling Metal. Just as "Lovebites" are the mistresses of Symphonic Metal, and "Nemophila" are the mistresses of Punk Metal.
