yeah...my 4th maiden gig they were playing bladerunner theme...it made hirs stand up and gave us goosebumps know what was coming...amazing

They always start the concert with Dr Dr as intro/warning up before the concert

You are going to have to search hard to find a fan base as dedicated and knowledgeable as Maiden fans. Maiden shows are full of young people that know the lyrics of all the songs that were recorded long before they were born.

I was in the Athens show on saturday. I am 44 and i expected that the majority of the crowd would be around my age. I was pretty much suprised that i and my buddies were the minority. I was delighted seeing 20 year olds being total,fanatic,fans!

We only saw them for the first time a couple of years ago William - this was our third.... they really are incomparable.... and I could do with knowing where Bruce gets the energy from !

it was mine and the wifes 1st time seeing them too, been a huge fan forever tho. they were amazing. im used to just watching them on youtube but when i was there and the lights went on i was like it it it its IRON FUCKIN MAIDEN. i couldnt believe they were there right in front of me lol bruce is 60 just gone he certainly has a ton of energy for a guy that age, hope i can go like that when i hit 60

1st Class Bands and Fans!

I was there. Somewhere down in the standing pit a few rows back from the stage. Absolutely love it. I've seen them at Newcastle twice and both times have had a better crowd than anywhere else I've seen them. Except download and possibly the London O2

you cant have been stood too far away from me then, i saw the crowd control at the front stand on a box at the barrier with his torch pointing into the crowd then one appeared in the crowd behind me. Tall lad only young, and then the two fuckin idiots crowd surfing got thrown out too, one came right over the top of me and jarred my neck, was a good job he went over the barrier before he hit the floor or id of planted my foot in his arse the twat!!! always idiots that spoil it they piss me off when you pay good money to see your favourite band....

It was my first time seeing them but judging by recordings I've seen they were absolutely on fire that night, they were awesome

I love Iron Maiden but I hope that Michael Schenker and Phil Mogg get some money from this. Maiden can afford it. And I hope that new Maiden fans at least check out UFO's Stangers in the NIght.....their classic live album which, no doubt inspired Iron Maiden.

It’s a massive drum kit, I don’t think he’s using the big cymbals around the outside for this song. For more of a dramatic feel in, say, “The Book of Souls”, the huge ones outside are being hit as well.

Bruce’s vocals are really starting to sound strained now. He can still sing the songs but you can tell it’s much harder for him. He had a great run and will forever be my number 2 behind Halford. Maiden forever
