Hey guys have you guys used the btr shaft rockers setups much? Do you reckon they're worth it for a boosted 5.3 staying under 7500rpm? (Hopefully lol)

Tapping the DOD towers to plug them with grub screws

Do these blocks have engine numbers? Any idea how to rego them in nsw if swapping from your alloy based ls commo? I heard you just fit the engine take it to the cop shop and they give you an engine number to stamp on it (yourself) if you can prove its not stolen. Then take it to the rta and do the paperwork or somthing.

Why drill and tap the towers, do you not trust the o’rings in the valley pan ….I have a l96 with a high volume oil pump should I be concerned but I’m only at 600/maybe 700 hp if I’m lucky (lsa blower)

I wouldnt be too worried. Its something we do on fresh builds for extra insurance. If its a SBE thing that isnt coming apart we wont bung them, have have plenty of high power cars with HV oil pumps getting around with no issues with them left open.

Which trucks out there come with iron blocks, I thought all you guys had were aluminum car blocks…….didn’t know gm had iron LS in Australia 🇦🇺…

You are correct, AUS didn’t get any iron LS variants, we have ours imported from your local junk yard 🫡

Yeh quite recently actually, ate the thrust out of it in one tuning session. Its on the channel it’s the bagged panel van. Currently rebuilding and making a few setup changes 👌

Am I the only one who finds that music putrid? Makes the video damn near unwatchable 🤮
