I have seen roombas not start, have errors, or have broken wheel modules, but this one, I cannot tell what is with it. The light was flashing slowly, the beeping was slow and distorted, and don’t even get me started on the physical movements. Awful. This one may be beyond repair

@@anthonynoga Well, roombas were designed to be easy to disassemble, so that makes it a bit easier.

@@TheRealKGaming I know, but the electronics and all that stuff is the complicated bit. A lot of people have had this error 9 problem with roomba, and I once heard something about there having to be a new bumper sensor soldered onto the motherboard

Thanks bzerk86, but I did reset a software several times before took this movie. Unfortunately reset procedure did not work for my Roomba and I sent my Roomba to a repair shop. Currently works well.

Does anybody know anything about other brands of robo vacs? Such as the Shark or others? Would you recommend any other brand? I don’t want to get a Roomba, because I’ve heard bad reviews on it and, most of them cost between $350 and over $400. With the ones that cost $350, add tax, protection plan, shipping (If you buy it online) and any other added fees, that $350 will turn into at least $400. I don’t want to spend a ton of money on something like this. Someone owed me $300 and it took over a year to pay me back. Now I have $300. It is as if I didn’t have the money at all, because I waited so long. I might as well get a good robo vac.

It is still recommended to buy Roomba, because the quality is good. I've had two Roombas (500 series) for 10 years with only one battery change. Everything else is fine! And it was cleaned very well!
