071 are +50 years old now. I wonder how many years they have again in them before they become uneconomic to service?

Brilliant as always. In particular 084 on full power accelerating away from Claremorris with the horn blowing and a wave from the driver. Nice one 😂

Fantastic Footage!😃. I wonder are there many of the modern signals which protected the N17 level crossings left between Athenry and Claremorris or were they uprooted when the level crossings and lights were taken down?.Didn't seem to see any in the vegetation clearance shots, maybe they weren't visible?.
