little known fact. the Bananas we are used to eating, "cavendish" are less flavorful than other species of banana. The "Banana Flavouring" closely resembles and is based off of the "Gros Michel" banana. so.... the 'artificial' banana taste is just what another kind of banana tastes like.

To explain the first one Nilla Wafers are a type of cookie/biscuit and there is a very old recipe from the 1950's they put on the box where you layer them with banana pudding/custard and slices of banana and top with whipped cream. Also "banana" flavor tastes like Gros Michel bananas which used to be the most common variety of banana until it was wiped out by Panama disease and has been extinct since the 1960's.

Not knocking you as it was said in the video as well, but I'll never understand the "for breakfast" comment. Two things bother me about it, firstly the time of day has no effect on somethings overall nutritional value. Secondly, the time interval between breakfast and lunch is fairly short for most people. If there was a time of day that a shot of sugar would serve to get you from one meal to the next, breakfast is it. Unfortunately most people (in the US anyhow) choose a light breakfast and lunch, to the point most just replace breakfast with coffee and lunch is devoid of any worthwhile calories to avoid the afternoon bloat/dragging feeling. This leads to sugar and caffeine being used heavily to get you through to dinner, landing you in a worse place than if you had just ate that bowl of sugar early, had a proper lunch with a good balance of protein and fiber to help you stretch the energy from midday until that evening.
