I know Deutschland is Germany because my great Grandparents were German. But howinhell did us peoples of the English Language ever get "Germany" out of "Deutschland" in the first place? I'm so confused.

@@unpong01 because Diets/Deutsch was a term for the general area. Germany decides to use the name because of that and the Netherlands chose it's name because of the low lying land. (neder = lower) then the English came, didn't think and just decided that Nederland = Dutch and Deutschland = German because fuck knows.

Well, human sacrifice was a common feature in ancient pagan societies. It was even practiced in India, an ancient pagan society probably much more ancient than the Aztecs. It was even practiced by the Gauls (modern day French) and ancient Britons.

i had tony's chocolate before, mostly the salted caramel and the raspberry one(some of the best chocolate i've had imo). didn't know they were dutch....way to go dutch. kudos.

After trying Tony's Chocolony in Amsterdam last year I was quite pleased to see it being sold all over the UK in Sainsburys, and even more surprised to see they have a UK mail order site too, considering I'd never heard of them till last year.

All through my parents 50+ year marriage, they argued over purple and blue. Of course he was color blind to the point she’d mess up his we organized and labeled color separated drawers and closet when mad so EVERYONE in town would ask him when they saw what he was wearing on those days what he did to piss her off. It took years for him to clue into her messing with his color organizational methods. He’d get to where he thought he was wearing only one color, but OMG was he oh so wrong. I hated those days he got me from school. I miss them now.

The white chocolate with raspberry and popping candy is my all time Fav of tony's chocolonely chocolate! i am happy almost all of them liked it specially the popping part ♥

Wow, I had no idea Tony's was Dutch; I used to eat their 70% dark bars all the time, and my roommate loves the pretzel one. I love the dark chocolate, and I think it's actually a really smooth dark chocolate flavor, although I do love dark chocolate in general.

Funfact about tonys, the bar has that funky design thats hard to have even pieces of because its symbolic for the for the unequal pay wihtin the chocolate industry, the farmers usually get very little for their cacao.. tonys whole thing is slavery free chocolate (which is in fact quite rare, they even got sued for making the other brands look bad by claiming this but they won bc well they were right) also they just make amazing chocolat, if you want to try cheap cocolat, you should try melk koetjes, i gag just thinking about those.
