A truly beautiful song. It speaks to the Irish heritage within me, and while I am proud to be American I feel a great deal of respect for the purity and sanctity of the Emerald Isle. So this is a tune I could sing, marching alongside born Irishmen, driving out all the unworthy Migrants, Progressives, and Leftists who taint the Gaelic legacy with their vile ideals and wicked hearts.

Óró Sé do Bheatha 'Bhaile "Oh-ro You're Welcome Home". "Óró" is a cheer, while "sé do bheatha 'bhaile" translates as "you are welcome home." The song in its original form dates back to the third Jacobite rising in 1745-6. In the early 20th century it received new verses by more... 123'Sé do bheatha, a bhean ba léanmhar, Do b' é ár gcreach thú bheith i ngéibheann, Do dhúiche bhreá i seilbh méirleach, Is tú díolta leis na Gallaibh. Óró, sé do bheatha 'bhaile, Óró, sé do bheatha 'bhaile, Óró, sé do bheatha 'bhaile Anois ar theacht an tsamhraidh. Tá Gráinne Mhaol ag teacht thar sáile, Óglaigh armtha léi mar gharda, Gaeil iad féin is ní Frainc ná Spáinnigh, Is cuirfidh siad ruaig ar Ghallaibh. Óró, sé do bheatha 'bhaile, (x3) Anois ar theacht an tsamhraidh. A bhuí le Rí na bhFeart go bhfeiceam, Mura mbeam beo ina dhiaidh ach seachtain, Gráinne Mhaol agus míle gaiscíoch, Ag fógairt fáin ar Ghallaibh. Óró, sé do bheatha 'bhaile, (x3) Anois ar theacht an tsamhraidh. Welcome oh woman who was so afflicted, It was our ruin that you were in bondage, Our fine land in the possession of thieves... I was referring to the information given by Diodorus the Sicilian, Greek historian (he spent several years in Rome). Here is his description of the people of Gaul: "The Gauls are tall of body, with rippling muscles, and white of skin. Their hair is blond, and not only naturally so, but they also make it their practice by artificial means to increase the colour which nature has given it, for they are always washing their hair in lime-water..."

Pretty much, yes. Couldn't have worded it better ma'self. Visigoths, Vandals and Sueve in Iberia (Spain, Portugal) and Angles, Saxons and Jutes in the British Isles. Of course, they were mostly just ruling elites. The blood and underlying culture is still mostly Celtic. And to think that the English and Castilians used to fancy themselves Germanic Angles and Visigoths. Can't help but chuckle.

Chicken wing 45 45 That's Ivory Coast's flag you're using. The Irish flag goes green, white, and then orange.
im listening thanks to arany zoltan. i like this music so much:) Greetings from turkey.
I used to sing this in school, but I forget the Irish words now. Brings back great memories, thank you! Go raibh mile maith agat!
What crazy people, like it. Irish, Celtic, Bretonic music so wonderful❤
Music like this makes you wanna be a better person.
She was some character, that Grace O'Malley.

And you sold to the foreigners! Oh-ro You're welcome home, Oh-ro You're welcome home, Oh-ro You're welcome home... Now that summer's coming! Gráinne O'Malley is coming over the sea, Armed warriors along with her as her guard, They are Gaels, not French nor Spanish... And they will rout the foreigners! Oh-ro You're welcome home (x3) Now that summer's coming! May it please the King of Miracles that we might see, Although we may live for a week once after, Gráinne Mhaol and a thousand warriors... Dispersing the foreigners! Oh-ro You're welcome home (x3) Now that summer's coming!

Yes yes yes yes yes , oh!! Que yes!!
@texasgungeek YAY for Texas Cowboys hearing this! :) I think that's pretty awesome.
Thank you very much for the advice I just have to find woad.
I am proud to be celtic.
Technically I'm Welsh which makes us neighbors. I do not understand Welsh or Gaeilge but I do understand great music.

First off, this is pretty... amazing. Secondly - I just can't help it - parts of this melody make me think: Oh, what do you do with a drunken sailor? What do you do with a drunken sailor? What do you do with a drunken sailor early in the morning?
Hungarian Guy ❤❤
Celts originally came from Eastern and Central Europe. The History Chanel never lies, man.
Bruh how many languages can you speak?! It's impressive.
The only thing missing from this is the voice's of Irish Volunteer's filled with Zeal against the British occupation of Ireland

Happy St. Patrick's Day. Commented on March 17, 2017
Can't help but chuckle.
.....early in the morning (:
