A truly beautiful song. It speaks to the Irish heritage within me, and while I am proud to be American I feel a great deal of respect for the purity and sanctity of the Emerald Isle. So this is a tune I could sing, marching alongside born Irishmen, driving out all the unworthy Migrants, Progressives, and Leftists who taint the Gaelic legacy with their vile ideals and wicked hearts.

Óró Sé do Bheatha 'Bhaile "Oh-ro You're Welcome Home". "Óró" is a cheer, while "sé do bheatha 'bhaile" translates as "you are welcome home." In the early 20th century it received new verses by more... 123'Sé do bheatha, a bhean ba léanmhar, Do b' é ár gcreach thú bheith i ngéibheann, Do dhúiche bhreá i seilbh méirleach, Is tú díolta leis na Gallaibh. Here is his description of the people of Gaul: "The Gauls are tall of body, with rippling muscles, and white of skin. Their hair is blond, and not only naturally so, but they also make it their practice by artificial means to increase the colour which nature has given it, for they are always washing their hair in lime-water..."

Pretty much, yes. Couldn't have worded it better ma'self. Visigoths, Vandals and Sueve in Iberia (Spain, Portugal) and Angles, Saxons and Jutes in the British Isles. Of course, they were mostly just ruling elites. The blood and underlying culture is still mostly Celtic. And to think that the English and Castilians used to fancy themselves Germanic Angles and Visigoths. Can't help but chuckle.
