Stillness or movement, the thoughts and impulses will go on, but the point is the ability to continue as you were. Just ask anyone who has or had ADD or ADHD, controlled focus in devotion helps or cures.

Soul and Atma are not the same - Atma is the unchanging Self above us and Soul is the evolving Self within what she calls the Psychic Centre..

Do you mean Ātman + Ego = Soul ? Ātman, or higher Self is the spiritual essence in all creatures, which is not changing and is beyond space & time, whereas the Soul has some layers which is based on the personal self made of subtle matter, is this so?

When the person (body) dies before the ego, the body decays, the Ātman is still preserved, also the ego, which means the person would be exist in the form of the soul, so the Ātman would be despite the death not free and being encapsulated by the spiritual body (soul or ghost), so does the soul wait then for a new incarnation?...........If the ego dies before the body, the Ātman would be free after the death (at latest) and may return to God (Brahman), is that the case?

However the Ātman is always free, while it is beyond space and time, the “Eternal”…….If so, how does the Duality come then into existence and what lets the Illusion be sustained?

Ahmad Sirhindi established the Mujaddidi branch of the Naqshbandi to rescue Islam from engulfment by Hinduism. He would therefore be most surprised to hear his order spoken of in Hindu terms.

With all due respect, do whatever yourself wishes for, But do not term your sect as Sufi, not a Nakshabandi . You and your Guru have invited a path, tailed by your very inner selves.
