Listening to this at 12AM, with headphones on, eyes closed, all teary-eyed, just... contemplating life I guess. I know every single one of us, no matter what age or race or gender, is going through something and listening to this song just exponentiates all the hurt, anger, sadness to a completely different level. I don't usually write paragraphs like this, but right now I'm kind of going through a rough patch in my life. i'm not really sure what to say... i think we all hold Chester dearly to our hearts because we grew up with his voice, with the band he was such a big part of. Its incredible, how you can never know a person, but hold them in high regard. thank you for a great childhood, thank you a million times.

Nick T. Been listening to Linkin Park for the longest time and my favorite in the group was Chester. Knowing he died is the saddest thing ever. My memories of him will stay with me. ❤

After a childhood listening to nothing but country music, I began listening to rock in high school. Linkin Park was one of the first bands I heard and they were an instant favorite because their sound was so unique. Chester's gritty, soulful voice and Mike's clear, clean melody just made them one of the few bands I consistently would crank up the volume when one of their songs would come on the radio and sing along. Chester, you were the voice of a generation. Some, like me, found you in our teenage years when we were looking for an identity. Others grew up listening to you. Losing you is like losing a dear childhood friend, someone a lot of us never met, but loved and held dearly. You'll be missed by a world you were taken from all too soon. But your memory will live on in the people who loved you and your music. Your spirit will shine through every time a stereo is cranked to maximum over cheap car speakers, the driver singing along at the top of their lungs while they drive down a highway. You will be remembered, you will be loved, you will be missed deeply. And one more thing... Thank you, Chester, for everything...

Finns Chan I am still in shock he's gone. LP is the only band whose songs I've always liked to a large majority. Most bands, I only like a few songs. RIP Chester and I'm so sorry you felt this depressed that it turned to this.

because of Linkin Park I realize Im really into rock music because when I was a teenager I was a fan of pop music.

My heart is so broken. I'm completely devastated. There will NEVER be another Chester. His voice was a powerhouse. LP has been one of my favorite bands for many many years. I was praying this was a hoax, but sadly it's looking as though it is true. And that hurts my soul. 💔

Christian Maning I think it was losing Chris that drove him over. I don’t feel like it was a coincidence he died on chris’ birthday. It took an absolute toll on him and I think he was suffering on the inside those few months afterwards. Then when he was alone it was too much to bear. His own son thinks he planned it because Chester made sure to visit him beforehand.

I'm crying so hard right now. This months I passed a rough depression, and when everything was going worse and worse, this song appeared on my iPod, reminding me that soon this sadness will be all over. Chester, I will forever miss you. Thank you for helping me to get through depression.

I don't like to admit I had depression, I went with the psychologist for months for it. I know that there are worse problems and worse situations, but what I had, really made me feel that bad. I'm 21, I have seen a lot of bad situations throughout of my life (and also wonderful moments) and I know there will be more, but this gave me strength to continue and that all will be over

Chester definitely was not a failure! He was an inspiration. Probably one of my favorite bands of all time.

The cinematic design of Optimus Prime is strong and maintains the best parts of his versions in the past animated series. The movies wisely asked Peter Cullen, the voice actor for Optimus Prime in the television series, to return for the movies.

I miss you but your voice lives through all of us. Singing with you is the best way to let it go.

He gave himself to the very end, nothing left to himself. His heart was too big to be fulfilled by simple human being love, he needed something of the Heaven scale to be saved. We pray for him to Rest In Peace "there" in an eternity.

Hey Chester. January 2024. This song helped me mentally recover and heal and become respected by all who I know. Even my mom and dad. You helped me so much with so many songs that got me through. Like this one. I listened to it so many times so loud on my sound system. It got it stuck inside me and help me to get a normal life a great day every day. Linkin park is my go to band when im feeling depress, sad, frustrated, Cold, alone, lonely, tired and i just wanna burst in tears, i have a family but i never shared my problems with them i face them alone and most of the time i keep myself silent keeping every emotion at bay but when i hear linkin park songs i burst into tears, cause they have something that makes me open up and let go of the pain that holding me back, i was suicidal few years ago but linkin park keeps me alive and making me push forward, chester i know your gone and my world crumbles when i heard your death on the news im depress for awhile but your music and the messages it contains tells me to keep forward and learn to accept what happen and let go of the pain, Thank You for saving me I'm forever grateful to Linkin Park and chester

To be fair, Bumblebee is set in 1987, so Linkin Park would be out of place for the period. It does have some cracking 80s hits on its soundtrack though 😁👍

Actually, it's Dark Of The Moon, Transfomers and Bumblebee are good.

Is the just me or these black and white Transformers really make this video unique and super cool and even nostalgia at the same time? This song and video always gave me a teary eyes, it brings back the memory of the prime time of Transformers and our youth. Thank you Linkin Park and Michael Bay.

I liked the addition of the Transformers in this MV. Strangely, this is the only official Linkin Park music video to feature any Transformers. At least the only one I'm aware of.

The lyrics of Iridescent reflect the idea that there is still hope and a chance for redemption even in the darkest moments.
