We might never truly know what happened but the fact that the original statement said that she has a reputation in the industry for being like that and Irene didn’t rebut that in her apology means it wasn’t an isolated accident. Not to mention, many famous magazine editors and photographers who have worked with her liked the original post plus ex red velvet and shinee’s stylists and boa’s current stylist plus one of BP’s staff. I’m not saying she’s a bad person or should be hated and cancelled but she definitely messed up and has a bad attitude and I hope she truly realizes it and does better. Mindlessly protecting your idols when they have messed up doesn’t help anyone.

One example includes belle shao whom have worked with many A-list chinese stars. She came out and said the same thing about irene, she lacks basic manners and her pretty face is wasted on her. In the original post by the first editor who has 15 years of experience in this field, she also said that she has heard many rumours about irene and should have mentally prepared herself before meeting her. Black people have historically faced racial injustice globally especially in the US and any form of racism must be condemned. Meanwhile men historically reaped benefits of patriarchy, they were never oppressed they were never denied votes and they treated women like property! Some context for that: that guy isn't just any guy to Irene. That was Kim Heechul. To Irene, he's a labelmate, senior, close friend and one of the only guys in her life that treat her with immense respect and kindness. They're very close and even before he met Irene, Heechul has always had a reputation of being a "safe zone" for female Idols. As in: his reputation of being a perfect gentleman is so well known that sometimes female Idols who never even talked to him will seek him out at shows and events and hang around him because they know they'll be safer in his presence. He's known for being extremely kind and respectful and taking very good care of the people around him. That's why Irene had basically no reaction to him wiping the sauce off of her face, aside from holding still to actually let him do it. Heechul has completely earned her trust.

I would like to say something about the scandal, I know it's late but I still wanna say it since alot of people in the comments are speaking about it. honestly what I wanna say is that we don't really know the whole story or Irene's side of the story so I don't think we should judge her personality (not saying you are judging her) Way, a former kpop idol of the former group crayon pop has talked about this in her youtube channel. She explained how these incidents occure, how it often happened in the Kpop industry and there's always two sides of these types of incidents. She's a former Kpop Idol so I think her perspective is pretty creditable since she knows alot about These stuffs. Back in 2016 when the same stylist worked with Irene, she complimented her alot saying "she is such a shy flower" "I wish I could be more warmer to you (Irene)" and now in her statement she suddenly said "I've always heard stories that I should be mentally prepared to work with her (Irene)" like THIS part made me really feel suspicious. But I'm not blaming her or anything and I don't want to either, but I just can't help but feel suspicious about this incident. So that's why I'm saying that we shouldn't judge her by only seeing one side of the story. I don't know if she will ever speak about it publicly but if does then it's good, but if she doesn't then I don't think we should make any assumptions about her and her personality. Now this incident has passed, it's been 1 month so I think we should just move on or wait for anything more to come out (you people's choice) for me I'm doing both lol. If you're saying there's 2 sides to this story then why did her company confirm 1 side? Not to mention the letter did mention that it was not the first time this had happened, like sure we all get bad days and we happen to lash out or do something irrational during that certain bad day but the letter mentioned that it was not the first time it had happened and that other staff member also liked the post, at some point "bad day" stops being an excuse, she has a habit of doing this, that's not a good quality to have, she must have yelled and raised her voice and gotten angry at staff members a lot for others to like the post and for the staff member to make that letter and say it wasnt the first time she had done it. Not to mention she made an older woman cry, which is like a big no no in korean culture, you dont disrespect your elders like that

@@shmeepness1700 first of all, why the heck are you still crying about this issue after more than a year? Get a life and give it a rest. Second of all half of the things you have said aren't even accurate and it shows that you have done no research at all, just saw a post and turned it into the only reality. The likes on the post have been already proved to be fake accounts pretending to be staffs a long time ago. And the stylist have also clarified in another post that the "other staffs" are two other staffs who assisted her that day but she didn't specifically said whether those two staffs experienced it or witnessed it. And the staff never said that rene yelled or lashed out at her. She said that told her words that hurt her, but she never said how she said those words. It was a one time incident that occured that day which was clarified by the company. And the company will obviously confirm one side at that time, do you seriously think they will reveal the whole story at that time when everything was hazardous??? Use your head, they will obviously think about calming down the situation first. Try to at least do proper research and THINK next time.

It happens to me too. I am from India. I am pretty and like to joke around but sadly, guys take it as a sign that I am interested in them. That's how I became conservative around men and have an unapproachable appearance now. People think that I hate them but I am not really comfortable with new people especially men. BTW I am 22 now and this shit has been happening to me ever since I hit puberty. I lost most of my guy friends due to this crap.
