To beat the ABs with time to go.. it’s a comprehensive win. Love the ABs and love Ireland. This match up has been some of the juiciest games in the last 10 years

Its a shame Ireland lift their game to a new level only when playing NZ. Perhaps if they were more consistent they might win a world cup, or in Nz's case 3 world cups. Also everytine they go to NZ they get pumped 👍

Absolutely brilliant from every player that started and came in from Ireland but for me Ringrose was my man of the match. His workrate and tackling during the match for the whole 80 minutes was unbelievable 👌

The intensity and speed of the Irish in attack and defence from minute one to eighty was hugely impressive

The Irish forwards were amazing....pure class....neat cleanups, good supportive running off the ball carrier.....excellent defense. Good lineouts and scrums. Those 8 heroes won the game

What a match from the Irishmen!! Totally impressed by their percussion and abnegation. That was something and I thought they were going to get beaten at the last minute but they held on! Hats off to the irish! If we (France) can make a similar impression for our match.. thart would be awesome!

Congrats Ireland from a Englishman we can all be united in enjoying watching the All Blacks lose to a superior team, I do have to say the refing was top notch too, so often the All Blacks get decisions because they are the All Blacks but the Englishman was truly fair and well balanced, all round excellent match thoroughly enjoyed it.

I thought the ref did not manage the game via communication/vocalization very well tbh. Southern Hemisphere refs are a lot better generally, in this respect. Don't think there was any bearing on the game except the Cody Taylor "late effort" card which was nonsense. ABs lost it around 50mins with the break-through the middle of their channels. They also made the wrong decision going for posts at penalty 70mins or so instead of pressing an offence for a try+conv. and winding the clock down. Ireland did enough to win >20pts with ABs playing catch up with

@@commentarytalk1446 as an All Blacks fan, they lost because they weren't prepared for what Ireland brought to the table that match. That's why I love rugby, you never know what's going to happen. The calls made by the Sir were on par. People are people.

It was as a fab game. What's your stance on the Irish fans singing during the Haka? It's not something that usually happens so I am a bit on the fence but the Haka is about laying down a challenge to the opposing team, as I understand it, so isn't it only right that the opposing team and/or supporters respond? I do think having the opposing team just stand there isn't really accepting a challenge. I have watched school rugby in NZ where both team's perform their respective Maori challenge/dance and there doesn't seem to be any silence from the crowd's. So my question is was the singing by the Irish seen as disrespectful?

I always knew we had the players to play rugby at this level. It would appear from this coaching team our players have no longer got the shackles of the Smidth era and are been encouraged to play with freedom with great interaction between a mobile pack and our backs with great handling, accuracy in passing and off loading. Refreshing to watch and long may it last!!

Irl deserved the win. NZ were to a man sporting afterwards, respecting the Irish NZ-ers in the team as well. The Ref did change the game in the last 10 mins. The ioane-Ioane non-try was clearly a forward pass. The Jordan-Ioane-Jordan try was clearly legitimate. Irl need to replicate such a performance WHEN it matters in a WC for this to have been worthwhile. Irl is still the ONLY “top tier” nation NEVER to have played a WC semi-final…

Rubbish that Ioane was a try and extra slow motion on another angle shoe the ball slightly going forward but on another angle it doesn't. Wrong call IMO

@@stephenlennon7369 you are 100% incorrect to say the NZ Jordan was awarded wrongly. Ioane, having passed, slows to allow the kicker to proceed him. He follows the kick correctly onside. Believe me! If I had an issue with it: I’d say so.

This was the turning point, from this game Ireland only got better

My theory is that shining at the 5 nations when the French and English players are tired from a properly hard championship is easier when you only need to play a few games in a Mickey Mouse Cup where your team cannot go down to a lower league. When the World Cup starts everybody is on a level preparation field …. And the true potential of everybody is revealed. And it is the same for beating Kiwi tourists at the end of their seasons, beating the All Blacks is great, beating them in a World Cup is something else.

well, again, cannot be much more exciting than this, now can it? this way that way, but Ireland had them on the backfoot for tóó long and kept the ball in own hand well. No ways one wins this kind of contest without the ball. Plus, penalties cost them dearly. Sjoe, WHAT AN ABSOLUTE BLAST OF A TEST MATCH! Thank you to all sides. Magnificent standard of play... FANTASTIC EXCITEMENT!

i thought ab made alot of errors. a few people did predict a loss for tbe ab's. would be interesting to see what the boks wouldve have done. all blacks dipping heavy. more teams beating them because of their predictable game play.

James lowe peter o'mahoney and joey carbery literally turned the whole game around with that sequence of play

Yes, he's allowed. It is similar to a foot trip or a tackle. Nothing wrong with it. Anton Lienert-Brown already had his hands on the ball.

The last time Ireland played NZ was the last time prior to this that they played well. That was 2018.

A great game by 2 top sides, over the year's the All Blacks have always been in a league of there own.... but tables have turned a bit, with some Northern hemisphere side's increasing their performance & abilities & giving the Southern hemisphere side's a run for there money ! Isn't the game of rugby then much more enjoyable... don't you think 😁 .. love rugby 🏉
