One of the best Irish performances I’ve ever seen. What a joy to see them offload and fling the ball out wide. You might say the competition were off the mark (which they may well have been tbf), however they certainly weren’t demolished by the Aussies a week or two ago.

Great to see a game were we didnt kick the leather off the ball, and to have a scrum half who gets to the break down very quickly and knows exactly where the ball is going to go before he gets his hands on it,it was very noticeable the game slowed down when both murray and carberry took over

It was what all rugby supporters want to see, this kind of free flowing rugby. I must say, if Jack Conan can continue this kind of form, he is in line for a nomination for world player of the year. Win or lose against New Zealand, hope they try this kind of fast rugby all the time. Also, Conway's first try, should win try of the year. Brilliant play leading up to that try.

Finally.....Some semblance of something watchable from lads in green,it's been painful seeing the thirst for high balls and appetite for running and faces and not spaces for many years.Hopefully we have woken up from predictable match plans with a game more predicated on instinct. More of the same please.

As was the case in the previous friendly match against Australia, some Japanese players seemed to avoid tackling. Their performance was different than it was at the World Cup. I want them to adjust things by the French World Cup. Both teams were terrible in the previous friendly match, but the Irish regular members are back from the Lions this time, and Ireland performed well. Besides, some new Irish players were running well. It was fun to watch them. Congratulations, Ireland. I hope we'll see each other again in the best 8 in France. ;-) See you!
