That wave absolutely amazes me. Has a feel of Clouds Break when pounding at its biggest like once a decade or so while this freezing green Irish monster gets that big and gnarly practically every year. Those dudes are humble but truly hardcore.

This is much more interesting to watch than 90% of what you see at Nazare.

I really think this is a heavier wave than Nazaré, I mean it's not as tall, but the guys are actually getting barreled and actually SURFING the wave. At Nazaré they're mostly out running an avalanche.

And it seems like the wave only breaks like halfway down the wave too. This wave in Ireland is way more gnarly.

I think a number of places are heavier than Nazare. This wave, Teahupoo, Jaws, the Right when it's really big. 60 foot slabs that pitch out as far as they are tall are way heavier than 80 foot walls of mush

Ireland is a heavy duty place for sure you have to be hardcore and seriously want it nothing but huge respect for these lads always charging 🤙🤙🤙

What in the actual fook🤯 Ireland kooking up monsters for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Much respect from SA🇿🇦

really enjoyed the wide shots, don't get to see many videos of it from a distance it's awesome, also be super cool if we could see some overhead drone shots and drone shots from behind the peak etc.. I see a few guys carrying stick go pro's where can we see that footage..?

Drones are a great idea, but "The Wind" keeps the good (smart) pilots grounded. I am guessing. MAD RESPECT to the U.K./Ireland crews. Safe, humble, and frothing!

The section in litmus that features this wave is probably one of my favorites of all time.

I dont know what to say, i think i saw brodie at makapu, so i guess i should say something. I keep running into big wave surfers, relevant because the best kept secret since ireland is nov 16, 1996, big island.

I'll stick with surfing the monsters at Waikiki on a 12' rentaboard with NO wetsuit.
