I'm Irish and not particularly a Eurovision fan, but I watched the competition on Friday. My first impression was that the song was not amazing but the overall package was striking enough that it was absolutely the right entry to send forward. Have listened to it a bunch of times since and loving the song now. It's probably too musically out-there to be a serious contender but I really hope they do well, and I hope Irish people get behind them.

Have a go with the official video, it's on youtube. The voice is much stronger on it. It reminds me of when I was a kid and couldn't wait to hear The Yardbirds next single.

Was wirklich außergewöhnlich daran ist - neben dem Song selbst: Die Jury dort besteht ausschließlich aus Leuten der irischen Popradiowelle und als sie gefragt wurde, warum sie sich für diesen Song entschieden haben, da man den ja wohl kaum im Radio spielen könne, kam als Antwort, dass es nicht darum ginge, den besten Radiosong zu finden.

I only heard of bambie thug a few days ago myself i didn't even know that the eurovision song contest was on.i like the gothic look and creativity of them i don't like that poppy stuff in the song but i am going to support the artist from the country of Ireland where i am from and still living in 😊🇮🇪

I used the RØDE NT-USB microphone and connected it to my iPhone (via usb-c) and captured everything with the “RØDE capture” App :)

Oaky, nice to hear her native accent coming through, love her voice that blew me away. But, why undress to perform?! Dress up to perform, please. The story is 6 in a dozen, it is not a high flyer it is too predictable for that. Dont want to be nasty, but it is quite shallow sadly. It is not the kind of song that I would start liking a little better if I would play it some more times, but hey it's just my opinion others may have other opinions about it. One can not please everybody, that is the bottom line ;)

It's not the eurovision anymore. Gone are the Johnny logan days when it was a song contest. She's actually a good singer. Nice voice. Not a song I'd be singing at my gigs. Wish her well.

Bambi Thug is a great artist. With a beautiful voice. ; Check out their you tube music videos; 1: "Lovebites" ( the vocals are sublime🫶) 2: "Tsunami" just an incredible feast of visual and oral beauty and strangeness ( Lady GaGa's "Bad Romance" video comes to mind, but it's still "Tsunami " is it's own distinct manifestation 3: "Careless" a great pop angst filled anthem to that self harm many of us inflict upon ourselves when we habitually fall in love with cads and heartless scoundrels 4: Bambi Thug 's live BBC sessions.( The second track "Necromancy" is a wonderful example of their very accomplished vocal range and skills and a beautiful song in the more ballad like genre of say "Lovebites"💕 Enjoy and vote for Bambi Thug lets make them the star they deserve to be.
