Great video. I climbed it recently from Luke's Bridge and I thought there were some risky spots even on that route, but your route was really dangerous. But well done.

Good job, tried climbing it years ago through a gully. Chickened out near the top due to all the loose rock underfoot.

Benbulben was an impressive giant willow tree 🌲🌳🌴 The same species of irish willow tree still grows high up on benbulbens crevices and is yet to be found growing anywhere else in nature. , great video . 👍

Loved the approach,right over the spring where Fionn could have saved Diarmuid's life,The scramble looks intimidating from the woods,but seemed reasonable in good weather,this is Ireland conditions can change seriously in a moment,Irish mountains are not big,but we have so much variety,the changeable weather can be the crux.

Similar climbs on the south face have a lot of loose rock. Was this the same on your climb? I love this mountain!

Is there a specific technique you use when climbing this way?

Witaj. Tez planuje wejście na Ben Bulbena z kuplami w tym roku. Plan jest taki, że chcemy zostać tam na noc, więc wejście z plecakami i namiotami. Niestety widze że ta strona jest zbyt niebezpieczna, choc satysfakcję miałeś zapewnie ogromną. Możesz podpowiedzieć, którędy moglibyśmy wejść na tę cudowną górę? Pozdrawiam Piotr

Cześć zamysł z noclegiem na szczycie bardzo łajny.Ja wchodziłem na szczyt dwa razy.Za pierwszym razem wybrałem łatwiejsze podejście mniej wiecej od północno-zachodniej strony.Tutaj jest link z mapa,który najlepiej to obrazuje www.walkingroutes.ie/890-Benbulben-Head-&-Kings-Mountain.html lub inna strona,z której często korzystam mountainviews.ie/summit/402/?PHPSESSID=klng2dg6fbqer41k0l3k57mrv6 myśle,że te dwie strony dostarczą ci wystarczajacych informacji .Naprawde warto tam wejść.Pozdrawiam.

Patryk, ładnie tam, ale to miejsce w min. 3.12 i 4.10 wygląda na bardzo niebezpieczne, taaak pionowo, jak Ty się tam wdrapałeś?? Czy ono tak wygląda tylko na filmiku ??

Zgadza się ,tak to bylo w rzeczywistości i w pewnym momencie zdałem sobie sprawe z niebezpieczeństwa ale nie mogłem już zawrócić było zbyt pionowo to dlatego himalaiści mówią,że łatwiej jest wejść niż zejść moge to potwierdzić .Dlatego też nikt nie wspina sie na te góre tą droga bo zbyt stromo i wieje silny wiatr od oceanu a ja chciałem spróbowac i udało sie ,zeszłem z innej strony szlakiem bez najmniejszych trudności,ale nie o to chodziło czasami sam wytyczam sobie szlak najatrakcyjniejszy im trudniej tym wieksza satysfakcja.POZDRAWIAM.

Je suppose que c'est l'ascension via la face sud qui est filmée présentement. "However, if climbed by the south side, it is an easy climb, since that side slopes very gently" est-il indiqué en langue anglaise. Non merci. Il faut se livrer à une escalade périlleuse !

you can walk up the other side. much easier. to be sure.
