It's so difficult at times in this world to even believe such beauty is possible, even in our closest neighbouring country, but the music, the video... I love your videos. My best memories are hitching to Cork for the Jazz Festival, with Ray and Louise; going to the Aran Islands with Mark; fishing in the river Shannon with Ray (and staying with his family); going to visit Connemara with my mother, and each and every day I stayed there. With Orla, Charlotte, Richard, Mìchael, Sìneàd, Rùairi, Francis, Liz, Annabelle, Rita, Geraldine, Niall, Jack, Susan, Sèan, Kevin, Jay (🌹), Tracy, Aaron, Joseph and many many others. I left Ireland in the recession of 2009 and went to Sydney in Australia then on to Calgary in Canada but after leaving I missed Ireland so much didn’t realise what I was missing the beauty is amazing so much to see on such a small island

I too live in Calgary. I was born in Portsmouth England and know how much you miss home. I stay connected to home by looking at videos and pictures of the beautiful landscape, villages and cottages. I watch a lot of British, Irish, Scottish and Australian tv. England will always be in my Heart and Soul as I'm sure Ireland is in yours.

I totally get that, Alex, as I've wondered about it myself. My best GUESS is (at the moment anyway) is, what these days they're calling, 'epigenetics," where the 'stuff' from previous lifetimes is all stored in our DNA. Things like emotional trauma are often the topic, but if it's true, then I guess it could hold stuff like the physical beauty of a place, it's history (or yours) and the events that occurred there, which in Ireland's case could be stirring up the sorrowful remembrance of the dreadful things that occurred there. Just thought I'd throw that out there as a possibility (food for thought), not saying it's true, don't really know. But I do find it interesting, and it could explain alot of things I feel, but don't really understand why. Cheers, Alex.

British born here, spent all my life in London. I plan to visit Ireland and Scotland. Very beautiful mountains, nature and rivers, sea etc.
