iRay Mini MH25 Thermal Monocular Overview

This is a quick video going over the new iRay Mini MH25 Thermal Monocular. The MH25 is an ultra-compact, lightweight mini thermal monocular which can be used handheld or can be head-mounted for hands-free operation. This video goes over the items included in the package as well as basic features and menu structure. We'll do a later video to show the unit's performance in the field.

It does have a reticle but it’s not recoil rated. Can record via dvr but does have a Bluetooth function which we will explore further.

    Do they make a j arm for it? I don't have a bridge I do have a Wilcox G24

Not that I'm aware of. Your best bet, since you already have the G24, is a wilcox modular bridge. That way you're only getting it on one side and effectively creates a dovetail to dovetail J arm.

Flir needs to respond with something better than the breach before these take over the market.

Yes they’re made in China. In fact many thermal units are produced overseas (Pulsar, AGM, ATN, Bering, etc). The closest comparable unit that’s made domestically is the BAE Skeet-IR which runs about 16k. We have already sold several iRay’s and other vendors have as well. While it would certainly be preferable to only sell USA made products, when something innovative comes along, we’re forced to take note. Many vendors will be carrying the iRay units and they have USA based customer service. If you’re dead set on USA built thermal you’re limited to Trijicon, N-Vision and Flir (most not available to the public though). We sell tons of those as well.

Comment made from a phone made in China transmitted through telecommunications equipment made in China routed through network equipment made in China video uploaded to servers made in China while wearing American flag t shirt - made in China. Everything is made there right now. Outsourced manufacturing is unfortunately very prolific. Even USA manufacturers components will likely have many components of the device made in China.

@@m118lr a big part of it is labor cost, it’s a part of economics. You simply can make more money manufacturing many products out of the country. The biggest problem is China is hell bent on dominating the USA and the world will use all techniques in their arsenal to accomplish their task. Like the belt and road initiative, and the spy programs and ip theft of American and other companies and their infiltration into political circles. And the like. We really are at war with China and we have been for decades. We seriously have to take major action now to start the road to correct it.
