[TRANSLATION AT BOTTOM] I'm Iraqi and this is so interesting to watch. I've been in UK over half my life and not been there since before the war in 2003. When the locals talk in Iraqi and y'all are clueless about what's happening but they understand that and still keep talking; apart from family, this is the first time I'm hearing authentic Iraqi being spoken elsewhere without a filter. :D Everyone is always so amazed that foreigners come to Iraq when all the media and people say it's bad and such, so they like to record and take pictures with y'all or just watch closely. A place where foreigners are very scarce to be found; nothing they say is bad. At 16:30 the guy is just amazed that you came to visit and he's in disbelief, the facepalm isn't bad; it's more like hitting yourself to check you aren't dreaming. You ask the price of it and the guy says "1 minute" so the guy recording taunts him making jokes that he doesn't know and telling you 1 minute instead of the price, he's giggling to himself. At the end where he's saying Australia good, he says "Iraq is doomed, we're all tired and exhausted in this situation. Government is no good." You said Iraq is "good/okay" and he said "in who's hand?"

Have you read the history of Iraq? All that Hanging Gardens of Babylon. That's where the first civilisations , farming, jewelry making . ..had started in those lands - Mesopotamia. It was the centre of the world, and most advanced people and lands. And many stories from Bible as well as stories and poems as .Epic of Gilgamesh. Absolutely beautiful people. You have had a good meal like Sumerian Kings 😊😊

I have just subscribed to your channel cause i have never seen such a crazy guy like you luke lots of love and support from india.

Some translation for those who are wondering what is being said. The guy that facepalmed himself is saying 'Where you from, Australia?! We struggle to leave to the west & you come to Iraq?!' He is basically in disbelief that you would willingly go to visit Iraq. Then he goes on to say 'Australia good!...Iraq is doomed. We are tired & our situation is miserable. Iraq is no good the government is corrupt' Then you said Iraq is good, he says 'In who's hands?' meaning if you're corrupt then you can have a nice comfortable life but if you are the average Jo, then you're suffering. It is a very difficult life for those who live in Iraq. May god help them.
