Walk to mosque early to be in the 1st rows 8. Listen to Friday sermon (Khutbah) 9. Send blessings on the Prophet (Allahumma salli wa sallem wa baarek ‘ala sayidina Muhammad wa ‘ala aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallem) 10. Supplicate (make dua) often especially in the “golden hour” (a time between Asr and Maghrib on Friday). Please make dua for me and my family and for every suffering Muslim.

One day, InshaAllah, I want to write a book on the history of Iran in the middle ages leading to the modern period, and how the religio-social landscape has changed over time, and why. These books nowadays are typically written either by Iranian secularists who have immigrated to the west or western orientalists. I pray that Allah SubhanaWata'Alah allows Muslims to establish a position in this kind of academia, because it is what the majority of people learn from.

Reading the Quran with an open mind helped me believe in my religion, and become firmer in my faith by rejecting many of the ridiculous beliefs that people ascribe to Islam. Did you ever read The Quran with an open mind? There are so many verses which states how to read, understand and think. Read in order to know, and read critically (96:1-5; 55:1-4) Be open-minded and promote freedom of expression; listen to all views and follow the best (39:18) Hold your judgement if you do not have sufficient information; do not rush into taking a position (20:114) And much more like above verses. So if we just recite Quran with closed mind, means we are not benefiting the actual meaning. But for sure meanings should not be just pick of one’s mind just to benefit him/her. So sometime when reading the Quran, we do a great injustice to our understanding by viewing it with the lens of our preconceived ideas/notions.

The Bible says in John 3:16-36 that whoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life, the Bible also says in Romans 10:9 that those who declare with their mouth that Jesus Christ is their God, Lord, and Savior they shall be saved. Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH! That he died on the cross, and was resurrected from the dead 3 days later to give us eternal life.

Any form of intoxication ( Alcohol , drugs, spirits etc.) Is the source to higher accidents and crimes , social damages and I can testify to that as a South African. On 3 Sep 2003 the Hubble space telescope began pointing its camera at a small area in the night sky. The area, about a 10th the size of the full moon, appeared to be complete darkness with no stars visible to the naked eye. Hubble kept its camera pointed there for over 4 months, taking in all the light it could. It photographed the most distant objects ever photographed (more than 13 Billion light years away!). The photograph was littered with dots. Each dot in that image was a galaxy. Each galaxy contained up to 1 Trillion stars (1,000,000,000,000). Each star may have a system of planets. There are over 10,000 galaxies in that 1 photo alone. There was 1 particular large galaxy (larger than the dots) which scientists estimate to contain 8 times as many stars as our Milky Way galaxy. It is so large, it technically shouldn’t exist according to current physics theories. All from what looked like nothing, from our part of the universe. Subhanallah. Al-Abbas (R.A.), the Uncle of The Prophet Muhammed ﷺ, came to the Prophet Muhammed ﷺ and said: “Ya Rasulullah, teach me a Dua.” The Prophet Muhammed ﷺ said: “O my Uncle, say: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ "ALLAHUMMA INNI AS' ALUKA AL'AFIYAH" Meaning: "O Allah, I ask you for Afiyah." Now what is Afiyah? Afiyah means: • To be saved from any afflictions, you are in Afiyah. • To be healthy, you are in Afiyah. • To have enough money, you are in Afiyah. • To live, you are in Afiyah. • To have your children protected, you are in Afiyah. • And if you are forgiven and not punished, you are in Afiyah. So basically, Afiyah means: “O Allah, protect me from any Pains and Sufferings.” This includes both Dunya and Akhirah. Al-Abbas (R.A.) thought about this for a while, and then he came back after a few days and said (paraphrased): “Ya Rasulullah ﷺ, this Dua seems a little short. I want something big.” The Prophet Muhammed ﷺ said: “My Dear Uncle, ask Allah for Afiyah for Wallahi, you cannot be given anything better than Afiyah.” It is a simple Dua, Sincerely mean what you say while praying. “O Allah, I ask You to be saved from any Distress, Grief, Hardship, Harm, and don't test me, etc.” All of above and much more is included in: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ "ALLAHUMMA INNI AS' ALUKA AL'AFIYAH" (Riyadh As Saliheen, Sunan At-Tirmidhi).

It’s is because when it gets dark (maghrib time) the camera can’t record unless it is switched to night mode. Otherwise it would just be a black screen.
