I know it's almost impossible, but if this is how Iran celebrated only qualifying to the wold cup, I would love to live to see Iran winning the world cup or at least to win a medal. Such wild joy, unbelievable. Greetings from Croatia!

At the time Iran was emergimg out of a devastatimg war during which people's lives were pretty much put on hold for years and this was really the first time Iran was coming back on a world stage. Sweet irony was since entire Australian esatablishment and its arrogant coach, venables had badmouthed Iran as rowdy and uncuvilized, it was Australians who lacked civility and grace after all! It was priceless to see the smirk wiped off Venable's face at the end. No offence though, I'm glad that Socceroos joind AFC and added to its quota!

Wow, Nice video. I've been to the MCG probably 200 times in my life. That game was the worst memory I have of it. But seeing how much it meant to Iranians makes it feel a tiny bit better.

YES i was there, right behind the aussie goals, my brother-in-law was doing security work for Chubb security and he got us the best tickets, man when Azizi ran into the crowd, me and my cousin rushed down to hug him. One of the greatest days.

I was there behind the goals at the MCG, when that idiot tore down the goal nets everything went Irans way. I had the best and worst emotions that night......

australia played good, SO did iran, NO ONE even had the hope that iran is goin back,australia thought that they're through since they're up by 2 and iran just played as good as they could just to come back,and they did,none of the goals that iran scored were shitty goals they were all great,iran's goali ABEDZADEH was the MOST CONFIDENCE to iran's win in that game!! saving a hard shot with only ONE HAND!!!both team deserved to win it,but iran more, and right now Austrlia is a great team!
