This may seem crazy? I'm a third-generation Italian and was brought up in some old ways. I really loved this and realized the love and labor of their cooking and these are real women to be respected! I went in Iran in 2012. Best trip of my life. Like going on another planet. People are so friendly, the women are incredibly beautiful and the deserts are epic! I spent 4 days in Khur in the dasht e-kavir, then been to Shiraz and Persepolis, Isphahan, Yazd, and of course Tehran.

I've been to Iran too. I'm western looking so women would just rape me with their looks. I was too scared to make any approaches though. I wouldn't want to be another Banged Up Abroad epsiode :)

I'm American and can tell you Iranians are some of tbe most nicest and polite and intelligent people you will ever meet... very original recipes and taste. (Never been there myself).

I feel very blessed to have a glimpse of these women's lives and beauty within it while sharing company together outside with the animals. We see far too little of the people and culture of Iran - probably then because we would notice how precious life is to us all and that we all share such similarities that it's a shame to discount. They remind you of Greek women in countryside and islands in villages cleaning the meat or fish and cooking ,these women know from authentic taste,clean and healthy too. Do you remember this Gordon Ramsey who visited a Cretan village and the Greek yiayia spitted his food and said it's too salty? Frankly in villages they are full of energy and know about real food

@Leon Hager No cow milk yoghurt because he's from Crete so he means goat's yoghurt or goat's & sheep's milk mixed yoghurt that's the most delicious yoghurt trust me and with honey,nuts and fruits it's than any cake or profiterol or brownies. Cretans have for some reason the most delicious lukumades in all of Greece and serve them hot with honey,cinnamon & almond,nuts and sesame mix. Cretan lukumades have yoghurt so I guess that why they are so soft and crispy too

howmuch is safran where you are? it's $10 a jar here for like 10 grams or whatever also did she teach you how to make fried rice or was it with potatoes ?? its incredibly rare to use potatoes at the bottom of the pan furthermore ask your friend if they ever added cashews to their meal to any meal??

I have no idea why this video caught my eye, but I found it completely satisfying. Watching the women prepare the food took me back to my childhood & the dish itself was prepared in such a way that you envy the dog for getting a portion! Combine that with the “silent” format & this was ASMR at its best. Loved this!

I’m cooking this in my kitchen with my husband now, and I know for sure It is so delicious. I am proud to be Persian and I love 💕 Iranian foods! ❤️❤️❤️

This is gonna sound strange, but I showed this to my mom and it immediately reminded her of her childhood in central Chile, with very similar vegetables and vegetation, so I looked it up and the regions share very similar weather patterns. It was simply beautiful and I imagine delicious as well 💕

Here I am in America just before dinner time watching this masterpiece. From pre-heating, cutting, washing and rinsing to seasoning. I can only imagine the incredible smell from all the mixed fresh ingredients. The final product looked so good and watching the luckiest dog in the world getting his own plate. Then, I drove my local Subway and got my dinner. :(
