I haven't had iRacing installed for a bit, I have wheels and clubsport v3 pedals sitting in my closet, and after watching these I am reinstalling!! Totally miss racing, some of the "antics" not so much, but ....

Glad I could get you back into iRacing! Generally I find it the best platform to race in open lobbies. While it might not look like in these videos; usually the racing is quite clean and most times it’s genuinely an accident. Have fun!

The charlotte rival reminds me of my iracing days. I remember Watkins glen. Lap 2. The 2 guys battling for the lead and took each other out in the s curve over the 2nd place guy making moves at the leader’s wife and they crashed each other…. The rest of us piled in due to the smoke and the track blocked. Never forgot that race. My car was junk but hey…. I finished 4th….

There's a video out there on YT, you might have seen it already, of Tony Stewart at a Daytona IRacing race and 2 goofs were doing nothing but whining and another explaining how to race there. Everyone was telling those guys to shut up and stop the bickering. Tony got tired of it and told them to "shut the fuck up". The worst part he was there to race yet got pelted with question after question about anything.

People shouldn’t be able to talk to each other freely like this. It’s mostly only used to bitch and complain which makes the racing not enjoyable

Rubbing is racing......idiots will be idiots i wanted this game until i seen all the reports on vids and the crying adults

I quit racing online because of the idiots like Momoz in GT who intentionally wreck someone for fun.

It’s unfortunate you quit racing online because while there are a lot of idiot who intentionally wreck people out, there are also a lot of great drivers and people you can meet. You gotta fish them bad apples out and find a good group of people to race with, then online racing can be very enjoyable. Give it another shot .

@@JayS1622 I gave all of my stuff away so I'd have to start all over again. I've been watching the IRacing's Sweetheart J.D and they have fun while racing clean. Makes me at least think about jumping back into it but it's still a tough call. Thanks for the encouragement to get back at it, when the races were "clean" they were fun.

And that's why I don't choose Porsche because those scumbags are aggressive drivers for sure

i cant stand when people bitch about lapped cars. they may be lapped, but they are still racing just like everyone else. if you cant get around them without wrecking, thats not their fault. just saying. you have to navigate through all cars on the trap whether they are in 1st or 30th…. get over it.

Good content but who the hell would pay for such a cheesy looking game

It might not look like it from the videos, but I think iRacing is by far the best platform to just jump in open lobbies, and usually result in good races with others matched to your skill level. Besides that there is quite the variety in different categories you can compete in, which are all pretty decently balanced and handle quite well.

@@dh23dabears While the graphics might not be on the level of ACC or other newer games (although that’s subjective), the matchmaking / ranking system is uncontested imo. LFM for ACC and rFactor looks interesting, but haven’t tried it out.

@@dh23dabears There's a lot of fun to be had with the free base content. it's once you start moving up and need to buy a ton of tracks to complete a season that it gets expensive real quick.
