Im frm. Malaysia, n even im not singaporean, i want him to represent people due to his transparency... We need people who understand people better. N of coz, his humor may make changes n life more colourfull. Vote frm me 👍

If he gets into parliament, I will definitely start watching parliamentary debates. It will be like watching a standup.

Kumar I love you for who you are. You bring so much light not only at your shows but to make our society aware that all of us are unique and we should accept every individual and respect each other and not be judgemental as no one is superior it's just their stupidity and bad attitude. I respect you nd all those who maybe different in the way they project themselves....

Yes! I believe that Kumar will make a great MP. He is down-to-earth, approachable and has a good feel of views of the common man. Most of all, he is truthful, direct, honest and a great observer of everyday life with the intelligence and courage to speak up for the common man. I enjoyed watching this interview. I don't think Singapore's ready to have Kumar in parliament as an elected MP but NMP, why not? He made his living on stage as a cross-dresser and gets away with the most (R) rated lines and with being caustically racist with no apologies but people love his comedy. He makes us laugh at ourselves, not to take ourselves so seriously. That really makes life so much more bearable. Kumar is a curious brand. You can't put a finger to why people are drawn to him though they may not necessarily accept his personal lifestyle choices. He is unapologetic for being alternative, for going against the grain, for making the best of what life dishes out at him and carving success for himself inspite of the odds. I think that's at the heart of why people admire him so. I suppose he represents a hope that people can be individuals, be accepted and succeed in a society where herd think is dominant and considered mandatory as a success factor.

He can just summarize and just say Drag is a uniform. Like any other uniforms u wear to work: police, security, nurse etc. His office is the stage. He leaves his office as a guy eventually. TRANSEXUAL is a form sexuality. NOT a uniform. like Gay bisexual etc. Its completely different. You can be Transexual and do drag. You can also be a straight married man and do drag, bec since its a uniform, u can leave it after your show to be whoever you really are.

What make Kumar special is that he is sincere. Secondly he doesn't promote his sexuality nor impose. He is as he is and he is accepted. Thirdly he make us laugh. What annoy others is some gays try to be more women than woman. Their gestures and speech are exaggerated. That disturbed many. Promotion of gay rights or permitted to marry and adopt like european countries is just not acceptable. They cannot make children they adopt call them mummy when they are men or daddy when they are women. There are serious fundamental moral issues that are sacred and cannot be changed.

Not making sweeping statement but most who are chasing the branded things in life are those who aren't confident with themselves, internal and external. They needed the branded materials to uplift their image and low self esteem which they think they are lacking. Search within ourselves and we'll know. The answer is in our hearts .
