IPSWICH DOMINATE WEDNESDAY! - SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY 0-1 IPSWICH TOWN 2023/24 CHAMPIONSHIP HOME VLOG!

In this video it is Sheffield Wednesday vs Ipswich Town in Wednesday's 6th league match of the season and 3rd at home!
Wednesday went into this one off the back of a 0-0 away draw at Leeds United that gave us our first point in 5 games, Ipswich Town on the other hand are on fire and have been flying in the EFL Championship, in their last match they beat Cardiff City at home 3-2 and haven't dropped many points all season!
The game started pretty lively there was a lot of action mainly from Ipswich's POV and Wednesday started well to fend them off with Vasquez being a great shot stopper against the tractor boys!
But, just before the stroke of half time Ipswich Town get a break against the Owls and it is squared to Connor Chaplin who side foots it and it manages to deflect through a few Sheffield Wednesday players and into the net, a shame for Wednesday to be down just before half time, HT Sheffield Wednesday 0-1 Ipswich Town!
However, out for the second half it was much more the same, Ipswich had the better of the chances and Wednesday lagged behind, creating a few half-chances but in the end that wasn't enough and the game ended at a comfortable 1-0 for Ipswich, FT Sheffield Wednesday 0-1 Ipswich Town.
Hopefully we pick up before Tuesday against Middlesbrough, we really need a result against the only side below us.

I see in the comments a few Town fans have alluded to it but since February of last season, the togetherness of Manager, Players and Fans has made us so very strong. I guess after your incredible Play Off win you could've had a similar positive situation but the Darren Moore thing left everything in turmoil I guess...And without momentum coming into this League it's SO hard. Hopefully you'll get that first win soon. Nice vid.

Ipswich pretty much have the same team as last season well the starting 11 anyway I think it’s just our coaching staff and the connections between each players which have really helped us

Yeah you guys have gelled really well and you’re squad in league one was good, we have just gone backwards since league one after Moore left and we’ve got a worse manager

We put out the same team that we finished last season with. I typed 'Sheffield Wednesday v Ipswich' and only counting new videos, this video came up 25th. And I thought you'd be off to Uni. Hope it goes well.

@@BenHarris I think we need a complete rebuild at this point. We did really well in league 1 but we are nowhere near good enough for championship, especially to the standard at what we used to be

Yeah I know, we are a league one side in a championship full of very very good championship sides, no wonder we haven’t won yet

Since the February match in league one (2-2) it’s clear how far ipswich have gone on from strength to strength and Wednesday have not.

Its pretty much the difference between an old team with no investment vs a young team with lots of investment, luckily for you guys your owners are putting loads in whilst our owner is slowly killing our club

@@BenHarris the starting team that played yesterday was the same that went on the run last season. It’s also about consistency, morale and team spirit. You shouldn’t have sacked Moore. Especially after the momentum of the Wembley win. It was bonkers.

We never sacked Moore, Moore left because Chansiri gave him unrealistic expectations of getting top 6 this season so he left for his own job safety and then Chansiri went and signed a worse manager

@@BenHarris you will never succeed with the current owner, and I suspect the current manager has lost confidence. Unless you invest properly on and off the pitch you’re likely to be relegated again. Ipswich had years of this too, and our new owners and management have turned the club around. Premier league is a realistic aim. Good luck. Wednesday are a proper club and you deserve better.

Sorry Ben but I am finding it hard forgiving Sheffield Wednesday for sacking Darren Moore during the summer,..did he not deserve the first 10 games this season at least?...he could not do much worse could he?...Wednesday were very poor,...how long before calls go up to get rid of the new manager I wonder??🤨

You are not clued up at all on what happened with Moore, i guarantee all of our fanbase wanted to see Moore try it in the championship but our owner gave him the ridiculous expectations at the start of this season to make the top 6, so Darren Moore and Chansiri decided by mutual consent that Moore would leave, none of us wanted Moore to leave and frankly Chansiri has replaced Moore with a worse manager, so you should feel bad for the fans at the helm of our spinless owner
