Everyone loves and respects Army personnels and they deserve it...but somewhere because of scoundrel,inhumane and mannerless constables,SI etc whole police department looses its respect and it is injustice to our IPS officers...I think there should be proper personality development programmes and markings for constables so that they behave properly and with utmost respect with normal citizens

aah...thankfully i found someone who thinks same as me i want to be an internal officer so that i can solve all the problems coming in btw all the internal affairs woh kehte haina ghar ka bhedi lanka dhaaye mostly ghar ke andar hi major crimes hote hain so to stop that i want be anips officer (and as i love weapons and the uniform they have including army officers ....to vibe in i want be an ips officer not an ias officer) but still i will appear for nda written exam

When civil administration fails then ips officer and jawans are called and when they fail the crpf and police commandos are called but when everyone fails the indian armed forces is called . ( Not my words it's from state emergency act from constitution known as aid to authority)...🙃

It's true. But in army you are restricted. You can protect your country but u can't solve the people's problems. Army has a seperate domain army and is restricted to the border security . But ips officer got promoted and they have a chance to get into R &AW and IB . Lekin fir bhi Army to Army hai❣️

Raw can take u and me also bro it's only chaired by dgp rank ips officer but most of the ground and technical staff are from army officers and ips officer.read about tsd which prevented 9 terror attacks by doing operation in Afghanistan and syria by a Colonel rank army officer ..

The only disadvantage that majority of youth find in defence forces is the career stagnation after certain rank, the promotional hierarchy is pyramidical and hence only a few officers barely make it upto rank of colonel and many retire just at the rank of lt.colonel and some take premature retirement, the condition in airforce and navy is good because after retirement you can either go into commercial airlines or merchant navy but for army officers the career outside is very difficult and they are only limited to security managers. Whereas in ips there is no question of career stagnation because every ips is assured of IG rank which is equivalent to major general in indian army only after 14 years of service, whereas in army one has to go through promotion boards and minimum of 33 years of service to become major general. So just imagine people here in ips are becoming equivalent to major general rank and withdrawing that salary just after 14 years of service. To add fuel to the fire, the NFU has also been applied to all india services except defence forces which i feel is unfair. These are mostly the views of officers in defence forces who have been superseded and retired at the rank of lt.colonel. My views are evident from the fact that the army, navy and airforce is facing shortage of officers due to premature retirement.

I wonder if they were able to clear UPSC exam with flying colours then why not the academy specialization exam ,that too in chunks bloody 119 cadets . Man thats a huge number to put forward.

@@shuvamdash8262 really work on statics exams can be made easy or tough if they wish to but not selection on medical and personality and attitude grounds u have more ppl giving army officer exams than civils even if seat is vacent they just leave it if the candidate is not making cut in civil imagine 300 seats and there are 300 people all 300 get this seats in army even if one candidate is not making their standard they just leave seat vacant and no reservation in army interview is million times hard in army ssb goes for days after clearing exams medicals psychometry all sort of trial by fire its hard only thing is that civil has more syllabus to cover tats it which makes exam hard but aptitude of army is some thing else bro no match

Every had the necessity to visit an IPS or IAS officer in his office? You'll regret it forever - the arrogance, the roughness, they insulting behaviour, the superiority complex - everything pales in front of the corruption - unless you pass the money cover under the table, your paper wont move - and you can just wait and wait. Now tell me - do you want to be a police officer? Not me. I'd rather not make such money in the wrong way. For me, Army's best.

Both services is great , but ARMY has its own AURA

But as compare to army officers, IPS officers exam level is very high no compare to army exam , anyone can easily crack army exams whether of jawans/officers, but for becoming an IPS , "mehnat karte-karte zindagi bahut kuch sikha deti hai". zidd hai upsc cse, aap india ka sabse tough exam dekar IPS bante ho , bhulna mat, and IPS officers life is extremely far better than army officials.

एक IPS जहां भी डिउटी पर रहते हैं वो खुद ही आर्मी,खुद ही नेवी, खुद ही एयर फोर्स, खुद ही पुलिस फोर्स है। वोहा पर आर्मी अफसर का कुछ नही चलेगी। आर्मी अफसर हो या जवान हो, उस पुलिस अफसर का इलाका में कोई गड़बड़ी करने से IPS जो कदम उठाएगा वोही फाइनल होगा। किसी भी आर्मी को पुलिस एरेस्ट कर सकता है मगर आर्मी कोई पुलिस को एरेस्ट नहीं कर सकता। आर्मी का उस इलाके में कोई काम या कुछ भी करना हो तो IPS से इजाजत लेनी पड़ेगी।
