Bruh... I’ve never ever shattered an iPhone or broken one EVER-and I’ve had them all since the original. I was using cases in the beginning with this XS Max but then I said fuck it and went raw with no case. Loved it. Everything was nice and good until I accidentally forgot I had it in a jacket pocket the other day and I picked up the jacket and it flew straight down onto a wood floor. The back was fully cracked 😢 So stupid of me. I couldn’t live with the crack even if I put a case back on because it would defeat the purpose... so I paid Apple $599 (no AppleCare smfh). So much money but they give you a brand new iPhone so at least I can start fresh and the battery is at 100% so we good now. Just $600 poorer and with a case now 😑

@@Johnnygga I came here for the same reason and the same as you I always keep my iPhone well protected. Who knows that a faulty case can cause the back of your Xs Max crack when dropped...

exactly, I realised that as soon as I saw the lengh of the video, 16 mins? then I though ok let me see maybe its alot steps but its easy, then I see all the fking tools we need, I was still like ok I can do this, then I got to the camera part nahh fuck it lol im out

1) wear gloves 2) shut down the iPhone before opening the back of the glass 3) disconnect the battery before touching the motherboard

You really don't need to remove the front screen. I've replaced 2 back glass casings now. This probably took you way longer then it should have. 🙄

Mine got ran over, and now its bent , front iland back is shattered, while front LCD has colored lines running down on the edge of right side of screen and about half way down horizontally, finger width apart of the touch digitizer does not work ... Greatt fml

Great video again, just replaced My 2nd iPhone Xs Max Back Glass turned out perfect although I do notice that you're some type of wizard with that heat gun I swear O.o the glass just practically falls off in nice chunks, I just got annoyed the 2nd time and just chipped it the whole way (which was even more than I would've thought haha)

Nefer Pacheco eh the iphone xs max doesent have a backlight but it can short other components inside of it And he didnt reinstall the water and dust seal that goes underneath the screen and he didnt fix it how they usualy fix it it costs more but at least u dont get water and dust into ur phone and its a original shasie not the fake glass on the back

Военкомат РФ ты видел как в нормальных сервисах меняется заднее стекло на данном аппарате?Судя по тому,что ты пишешь,нет.Разломать телефон,а потом склеить его на клей,это не ремонт,это жесть,если нет возможности чинить такого плана устройства,то лучше не браться.А по поводу того,сделал бы лучше я,вопрос неуместен,я занимаюсь другими вещами и в моем деле встречаются такие же «Мастера»,которые собирают все на синюю изоленту и стяжки.В любом случае,если мой XS постигнет такая же участь,я лучше похожу в чехле,либо отдам в сервис где сделают как надо

Luckily I threw my phone so hard that most of the glass pieces from the back came out. All I had to do was scrape the pieces off and replace the glass!

@@dragonlord6091 ok so first its not illegal lol apple has been trying to make it so small shops cant do repairs but they have been failing. its no different than taking your car to a mechanic and having them replace your parts. second when i do repairs its right in front of the customer so they can see EVERYTHING i do to their phone. so there is no theft to worry about. again this part would be $300 at most at my shop. part would be ordered shipped and recieved in one day and fixed the same day the part came in and in front of the customer so they can watch everything thats happening.

The phone is no longer waterproof now . You did not remove the adhesive that was already there before and replace it with new adhesive coating .

Lol the back glass of iPhones have a strong adhesive the heat used to work in it can damage internal parts and so forth. Honestly I don’t know why he doesn’t just do a frame swap lol that’s the real question
