    hello the best youtube channel ever... i replaced the screen of my XS then lost the face ID, it says « face id is not available » any easy fix for this issue... they say restoring the phone with DFU mode and itunes would fix it... but i wanted to ask experts like you

    Try cleaning out your port with a toothpick before performing this repair. My charger kept slipping out and I found about an ounce of compressed dust stuck inside the port. It took about 20 mins to clean out all of the dust but it was worth it.

    Followed this and now my phone restarts every 2 mins and is overheating. Back camera also doesn’t work now. Any suggestions?

    well, if you look closely at the battery, upside is an empty space, where you could easly fit not 1 but 2 headphones jack :))

    the piece filling this space is located on lcd screen. i think its the loudspeaker part.

    @@riq6354 I've read that the OEM iphone charging port has "a thermalmoniord sensor" that the phone looks for. If it doesn't see that, it restarts every 3 minutes like my Xs. Have you figured out your problem? I'm looking to buy an OEM charging port.

    @@razziade yeah i was looking for an OEM charging port for that exact reason. My phone started working perfectly fine by itself after 5 days so i never had to replace it

    @@riq6354 my wife had her phone by the pool and we think some water splashed onto the phone. She bought a new phone, so the damaged phone has been sitting in a dresser for almost 1 year. She wants to toss it, but it’s brand new. It does charge, but reboots every 3 minutes. It’s my toy now so I wanna try changing the charging port. I have an iPhone 7 with a cracked screen so if I can get the Xs fixed, that would be cool. Anyway, you lucked out with your phone.

    Long story short... take every component out of your device to be able to change your charging port. Ill just pay a company to fix it for me. Thanks Apple.
