Oh this is Great! Came here because I have been having issue with xr have no touch, but you can turn screen off and on then touch work, so not sure if this is problem, but I will test the screen connector now... What's the UV for, and which do you recommend I buy? Haven't learned to use uv with my soldering so I am now curious! Haha Thank you very much, keep up the great work!

I have the same problem with my Xr Did you manage to fix yours? When I turn the display off and on it works for some time and screen gets stuck later

@@waynejones3731 luckily customer this is happening with is younger cool kid, so he's understanding of the new issue we will need to find workaround for. I have saved his original display for the touch IC, and plan to have him drop off one of these weekends for me to swap this chip and see how things goes. But currently I'm held up looking for the stencil to reball the chip properly. Anyone have link to touch IC stencil for XR?

@@waynejones3731 oh this is flex cable vid not the touch IC transfer vid, my mistake. My issue is with brand new screen, so I don't think it is micro break on flex connector, I think it is touch IC chip marriage to board apple is starting to have more tight checking of serial of parts.

i dropped my ipxr when riding the motorcycle. the screen shattered and the lcd panel can't touch. could the touch ic broken or it is just the lcd?

can you fix ghosting issues, i have a basis repair shop and most cases i do only hardware replacements instead of soldering. sometimes i come up with a screen that has ghosting after 3 months, how can this happen (screens are original or oem , refurbished.)

Hi sir I am from India. I broke my touch display or iPhone xr in March 2020. Finally I managed to buy a touch display from china via friend now. But unfortunately I was not able to power off my phone due to.old touch display was dead. And I connected new display with battery connected and phone on.

Now my phone is on and touch is working. But my phone is not processing the input via touch

Usually I don't reply the question that is not related to the video. But this question I have a fire to answer. I do have i2c dot projector repair kits... they suck big time. the flex their provided got problem in 3 out of 10. And some flex will even die itself after the customer used for few weeks. Now I heard they got second-gen of flex, but also many dealers complain the flex got a problem, too hard. Luban is better, but more works.
