Base on her recommendation, she obviously prefers the phone but like she said the GoPro is really really to bring around and cost less but the battery life time is very little . It is not that realizable uncle you carry 2 or 3 batter if we have an all day touring the city

Gopro is an action camera and serves the purpose well for things like biking, trekking, surfing, climbing,etc. But if you are gonna just dance in front of the lens then iphone is the gadget to go for.

Because iphone record natural colours and Gopro is more saturated . This is very subjective to have iphone or Gopro. You can’t win with one.

Go pro any day ...much compact , cheaper , proper vlogging setup. Only issue is lot of mounts needed.

You need to share your view about criteria like Stabilization, color algorithms etc

Great comparison in short time. But I believe GoPro has certain leverages that iPhone can’t provide and thus is a must have for travel content creators.

I had owned multiple gopros over the years the biggest advantage is size and its sturdiness but the battery sucks a big time. If given a choice now i would pick cellphone now. If i want best quality dslr period

Go pro the action camera is for on the go video recordings.. More rugged and also using a go pro case underwater footage is no problem... But for everything else the iPhone has a clear edge...

Nowadays the quality of iPhone camera seems extremely good, no wonder the days may come where we used to tell others back then we used a special device called camera for capturing the photo

Go Pro, shifting content from GoPro to HDD is easy compare to Iphone, secondary we can buy couple of more batteries for go pro to run for longer time, however, Iphone server more than camera which we cant sacrifice on trip because of battery draining issues. For Ex: in trip Map , google, calls, hotels booking, whatsup , ticket booking for difference places etc etc

It all depends on what are you going to do with either of the camera. I personally like the video quality of the GoPro more than the iPhone. I feel for the hypersmooth stability if you need an action cam like for moto-vlogging, then definitely go for a GoPro... however, for general vlogging, the iPhone, esp with a gimbal such as DJI OM4 is an awesome package!
