I was hope that is will change from a stupid system to one that can be used without jailbreaking fully if all your equipment at home is not from Apple, but this did not happen

SE Chassis with 1 rear camera only to have more space for bigger battery, Apple needs to be consistent that SE is a Basic Phone and not for a larger screen and fancy stuff. I'm 28 and I'm stuck with 6.1 iP13Pro they're just too heavy and too big for 5ft midget like me. Im still using my 7 and it's slowly dying and less accessible for basic bec mic, home button and camera is no longer working.

I hear you! The Mini was a great model. But do remember a SE is not meant to be small. It's just old apple parts like the first SE was a old iphone 5s and the SE 2nd and 3rd gen was an old iphone 8

Definitely! I crave for small powerful phone, having iPhone 13 for the past 18 months. Its size is incredibly inconvenient, I don’t want to have to wear a bag to be able to properly carry a phone with decent performance and battery life!!

I utterly dislike the idea of making SE phones bigger. I don't want to be stuck with the 13/14 forever I WANT SMALL POWERFUL PHONE!!!!!!

I’d prefer the 4.7. They fit in the top pocket of my shirt. It’s a phone! I have an iPad for a larger screen.

1:53 So, the new iPhone SE will have an OLED display, and because it will be OLED, it will be larger, but because it will be larger it will most likely have LCD display. Totally makes sense to me.....

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Do not presume to speak for those of us who are true fans of the iphone SE. We are the ones who bought the iphone SE 1, then upgraded to iphone SE2, and then to iphone SE 3. We don't want a larger iphone that barely fits into a shirt pocket or a pants pocket. For those people who want a larger physical iphone, just buy any of the other larger iphone models. There are plenty of those. The person who buys into the concept of the iphone SE does so for 2 reasons: (1) To get the smallest possible iphone, (2) To get the most affordable iphone. That's what is important to us. Do not forget that!

We need a mini pro!

I wonder if the SE will have face recognition or finger print? I love my XR but the SE sounds pretty good if it has face recognition.

they should do something like the iPhone 14 with the 8+ camera design, with the same camera quality of the iPhone 14, A16, OLED, and maybe an action button

Got me my XR 2018 and it is still working well even after a few drops. So, I can wait another one or two years for this SE 4 beauty, especially at a price of $499

@@MattTalkTech You better believe it. As a senior, the $499 price is great and the 6.1 inch screen is quite suitable. I don’t need “the bells and whistles” of a more powerful camera as I am not going to make movies. I can wait for it as my XR2018 is still working for me.

Okay if this does end up being $449 I'm pretty sure I'll upgrade from my SE2 to this. Also Matt this video seems like not a repeat of info but an actual repeat of videos you have previously posted. Like the audio track was compiled from snips of previous videos. IDK maybe it's just me. Great vid still!!!!

I don't think I'll pick up another SE cuz the battery drains too quick. I still have my SE2 but currently standing by on a new deal. Hopefully no later by the fall.

They need dual camera if they expect to make sales .

You can't go wrong with getting an iPhone this year.

I like the single camera, It should be made smaller though. With it being the same size as an iPhone 14, you could just get a used iPhone 14 instead.

Still using iPhone 8 here as my only phone.

Yeah I’ve had mine for 2.5 years, battery has definitely degraded, but I just swapped the case for a Spigen Tough Armor from a really worn Otterbox Defender. Feels like a new phone, slim, and will definitely get me though another year while I wait for the 2024-2025 SE. Before this I had an iPhone 6 from day one of 2014, and absolutely loved that phone. Refurbished iPhone 7 lasted a few months before it failed and now only buying SE’s every few years or more.

RIP the one-handable iPhone. Sigh... Guess I'll hang on to my iPhone SE 2 until it crumbles away to dust in my single right hand.

The fact that people so interested in Iphone SE 2025 shows the impact from economy crisis. but also, I feel the simplism take over technology -.-`

Pass but it’s a great option to save some money

Just keep the SE format with the fingerprint reader but with later chipset and 5g. I don’t care about multi cameras, or any other wizzbang bits as I never use them. No I am not crying out nor even want a bigger heavier phone either!. The size is good already. If I want a slab next to my face I’ll pick up the iPad.

It's essentially an iPhone 14 but with a USB Type C port and a single image sensor in the back. But the literal million-dollar question: will it use Apple's internally-developed 5G radio modem chip or will it use the Qualcomm Snapdragon X75 radio modem chip?

2:07 ????? You are contradicting yourself. First you’ve said it was OLED, but now you are like “No it is an LCD screen.” Also it is pretty much confirmed it’ll be an OLED screen.

Odd that they are waiting 3 years to update the SE model, which I bet is a big seller for them.

The new SE is rumored to come with 128GB and 256GB options.

Too little, too late Might be interested if they release a plus version for less than $600

I‘m not happy with a redesign. I bought the SE for its small size and the home button. And the round edges are more comfortable to hold than the flat ones.
