The sad part is Apple could make the design modern for only a little price increase, but refuses to because this phones only purpose is to be people first iPhone and then make them upgrade to the iPhone 13 or 15

I actually prefer the home button than without. I like it because its aesthetic, easy to enter the home page, and more nostalgic and memories going on. 😊

No one cares if it has big bezels, someone buying this phone is trying to buy a cheap phone that’ll last 5+ years. They aren’t worried about the screen or the aluminum bands on the sides. They’re worried about the price and the internals because that’s what you really need to worry about in this price range.

i have this phone, and it's a great phone. the camera is not glitchy, it's actually pretty good, it has a15 bionic which is a fast chip. and who needs face id. overall this phone is really good for it's price, i would definetly recommend it. @@edison2964

I just recently got the SE 2022 and it has been fantastic. The battery is outstanding compared to the previous SE 2020 at over 10 hours of on screen time! Never thought the battery would be this good! Edit: Apparently people don't think it's possible but for the first month and a half with the SE 2022 I was getting 10+ hours of on screen time. Now it has settled down to around 7 hours of on screen time.

well yeah but the point of the se is for the people that like the home button

why do people hate this phone so much? it’s perfect for people who still love the old design, or want a budget upgrade from a previous home button iphone, or they’re new to iphones. it’s also great for kids or older people. yes, you can get an iphone 11 or even 12 used for the same price, but when you get a used phone it could have repairs that you don’t know about, degraded battery, and no water resistance due to dust or repair history.

I have the se 2nd gen and have had it for about 4 years and it’s great! I absolutely love it and wouldn’t want to upgrade If i’m honest the 3rd gen is basically the 2nd gen but with 5g

I sold off my standard 13 when I switched carriers and bought a red SE3. That was the first thing I noticed/missed in a Smartphone, was it’s smaller design and TouchID! I’ll probably wind up using this thing until it’s not supported by iOS anymore 😆👌

It works great and is practical. Nothing wrong it’s same frame. I love the home button. Cars like Toyota and Honda use same design 5-6 years. This is a great phone. How many people really “need” a $1300 phone and accessories. I’m a rich kid and these are good enough for me and I can afford cash for anything. I spend it on cars and watches.

Just ordered one of these. I love the old design and I’m going to use it as my work phone. I’d love if Apple made another one of these with excellent specs. Easy for them to push them out and it’s a timeless design.

I actually just got one for a backup phone. It was half off with my provider. It’s actually not a bad little phone. I especially like it for making instagram stories and reels cuz it’s so small and easy to use or hold onto.

I still really admire this person. Way back while his in android authority i discover him and he was amazing.

The bezels are not “huge.” That was the standard for pretty much any iPhone between 2014-2017. Phones just look different nowadays, but there’s no need to call them “huge.” They are just bezels on a phone.

To be honest about the bezels, some people hustle prefer a smaller screen anyway and this is really the perfect phone size for most people the whole screen is easy to acess, not too big not too small

only one thing i prefer from older SE is the design, SE 1 had rrally pretty gold rose

am i the only one who likes bezels and home buttons? in modern phones with no bezels if your watching a video and holding it your thumb covers a part of the sceeen. With bezels you can just put your thumb there as like a holder! I i love home buttons as well. This is my DREAAAM phone as of right now. Currently i have the samsung galaxy A21.

I’m glad my dad took iPhone se 2020 which comes with power brick, EarPods and cable and 2 Apple stickers. 🤩🥳

Bezels are no problem to me at all. Actually I prefer bezels to no bezels . My last phone was a Samsung A22 with no bezels. The problem was that I couldn’t handle the phone without triggering a function that I didn’t want. Maybe just clumsy fingers but I like my iPhone SE better.

Reasons to have one: Touch ID, understatement (cant tell if its iPhone 7) and cheap compared to the internal performance (5G, A15), Bonus: now you could pick up the SE2 used for a fraction of the price and still get A13

The iphone se 2022, in my opinion, is basically an iphone 11 mini (even tho that does not exist). It has the same processor and the same mp as the iphone 11, pro and pro max. In summary, I LOVE IT. Let me know if you like it and think the same way :)

I live the SE I bought 2 like this and come out of the first and second iterations. Not cutting edge but I like the home button in bed all night in a dark room instead of the FACE ID. I tried a 12 and returned it.

I have the same exact phone and it’s a really good phone and really cheap for an iPhone.. people are hating on it because it doesn’t have the dumb swipe feature where u don’t have the home button on the bottom but I think that it’s better to have a home button bc it’s easier but the haters can hate lmao i love my phone anyway

Absolutely love the chonkster bezels and TouchID on my red SE3 ❤️ I actually came from a standard 13 to this device and really, my only gripe would be the battery life isn’t as long lasting if I’m using it heavily. Even though this thing is regarded as the cheapskate special in iOS land, I love the premium in-hand feel it has and the super quick processing power of the A15 chipset, all within the ‘ol school Home Button design! Really don’t understand all of the hate this device gets from people..

People are so materialistic. I have the 13 pro and S23 ultra but am looking forward to getting the, Se. My 16 year old grandson who has an iPhone and a Z flip 4 wanted an old school flip phone. I can't go there but I'm going to step back and see how it works. I wouldn't be surprised to see You Tubers start reviewing flip phones or promoting the se phone.
